Grace Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was founded in 2010 by licensed Funeral Director, Derrious Hardy. The original location was located in Bibb County, Al. In 2017, the establishment was reopened in Sylacauga, Al along with Mr. Hardy wife, Stephanie Spivey Hardy. Grace Memorial provides a variety of funeral and cremation services at an affordable price.

No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity. Derrious Hardy is the son of Mr. Michael Hardy and Ms. Patricia Hardy. He is a native of Bessemer, AL and a product of Jefferson County School System, graduating from Hueytown High School Class of 2003.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

I can honestly say that Grace Memorial Chapel is one of the best Funeral Services I’ve ever encountered! When they took care of my family needs for my Dad’s service my Mom didn’t have to do a thing! Mr. Hardy and his staff was there every step of the way! Also, let me brag about the prices… when I say a steal that’s exactly what I mean! They are the cheapest you will find in this area and I can say from previous experiences elsewhere! I know my family won’t be going anywhere else besides Grace Memorial! Give them a call in your time of need! You won’t be disappointed!

The personnel at Grace Memorial Chapel Funeral Home took great care with my dad and his service. My dad looked like he was sleeping peacefully. I’m so thankful and grateful to the staff here as they were completely professional and went above and beyond to make sure the family was satisfied with the services rendered. Perfection is the word that comes to mind when describing the services of Mr. Derrious Hardy, owner of Grace Memorial Chapel. I thank God for allowing the Holy Spirit to lead me to the Hardy's. Somehow, Mr. Hardy knew exactly what we needed, and there was never a doubt in mind about making the right decision, The entire arrangements for my sister was just right. I never thought I would be writing a review for a funeral home. Mr. Hardy and his staff were professional and personable individuals. From the time they showed up at the house in the early morning hours full dressed out in a suits. I knew we had made the right decision. My daughter asked me "Did they have to put on a suit at 2:30 am" ? The prices and package deals on burial and cremations services are second to none.
