Wright's Funeral Home has come to learn that variations in funerals can be influenced by cultural traditions, religious, and personal preferences. We celebrate the ethnic diversity of our community by offering a wide variety of options to meet the religious and cultural traditions of families. What one family may consider to be the ideal funeral service - is not necessary acceptable to a different family.
No one likes to think about death, let alone plan for it. In many families, discussing one's mortality is an extremely uncomfortable topic. It is emotionally challenging to think about end-of-life decisions. Yet by initiating this conversation now, everyone involved will be in a more comfortable position later.
Since 1986 we had served the Alexander City AL, area from our location at 1395 North Central Avenue. Our desire is to help the family graciously receive their guests, in a facility that is relaxing and suited to them, and one that speaks well of the method in which they have chosen to honor the memory of their loved one.
When a service member is killed in the line of duty, many organizations come forward to provide help and support for the family. Funeral expenses, specifically, are a covered expense through the VA. VA Burial Benefits - The VA provides money to assist survivors with burial costs for both service and non-service-related deaths.

On 8.31.2021 we lay to rest our beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend. We chose their service in honor of our love one's request however, we were displeased in the lack of concern and organization. Prior to his funeral we discussed all his funeral arrangements detail by detail. It was established that if the weather prohibited music we would use a bluetooth speaker or no music at all. Instead we were surprisely given the inadequate usage of a CELL PHONE. This created embarrassment for the family and disrespect to the deceased. Althought this was displeasing we were very happy with the preparation
