Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Jennifer Ulm, who is a licensed, experienced Farmington veterinarian. Dr. Jennifer Ulm grew up in Yates City and attended school here in Farmington. She attended Blackburn College in Carlinville and graduated with a BS in Biology. She then went on to the University of Illinois for veterinary school. After graduating in 2001, she and her husband Matt returned to Farmington.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.

Our two doggos absolutely love Ulm Vet Clinic!! Dr. Ulm is amazing and she is SO good with the dogs. The vet techs there are SO sweet and kind and good with the dogs also. They all know what they’re doing and I feel safe taking our dogs there! They want wants best for the dogs and that means so much! Would absolutely recommend!!

I faced the unbearable task of having my 24 year old kitty Thumper to sleep. 😿The staff was sympathetic and kind.🤧 It was a very smooth process. Thanks to them and Jennifer herself my animals will continue under their care. ❤ And I highly recommend their pet cremation services. Was bittersweet seeing him in the beautiful container. I knew I was hurting but he is peaceful 😌

My regular vet was out of town and my cat was very sick. They took exceptional care of her during the two days and nights she stayed. They called with regular updates and even put in the extra effort to hold and rock her when I told them she liked to be held and rocked. They really are an exceptionally kind and quality service. I appreciate beyond words that they saved the life of my cat and treated her in a way that helped alleviate her stress.

Dr. Ulm and her staff have been so compassionate and very professional when we bring our fur babies in for care/treatment. We have four pugs that we consider our babies. One of our senior babies (pugs) had a tough year due to medical issues that involved difficulty breathing.
Dr. Ulm worked with us to come up with numerous medical alternatives in an attempt to improve his health. Once we had exhausted the less invasive options she referred us to U of I for a surgery that was VERY successful!
