I stayed here on a cross-country road trip, and loved it! I found it searching dog-friendly hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful, with an easy check in and check out. The room was well-designed, clean, and comfortable. They even had dog bowls and a bottle of water waiting when we got there! Free parking is available across the street. I would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately our stay at this otherwise incredible hotel was overshadowed by a looming, ominous STENCH from a nearby landfill that has apparently garnered considerable media coverage due to the emission of harmful chemicals and gases into the air (such as benzene, highly cancerous to humans). We dealt with headaches and nausea as the smell seeped INTO our room our second night.
The hotel itself was INCREDIBLE and we particularly loved the ceiling fan and gorgeous, spacious bathroom (oh and the pillows are amazing), but it's worth warning the community before they book this or any hotel in this

This hotel was amazing! It was just what we needed for my family and I to relax and rest our heads from traveling. Miss Cindy was working Christmas night and she was very accommodating and sweet. The room was fantastic! Very nice and clean with great amenities. Our favorite part was the shower! It was also very affordable!! We have zero complaints about this place. It was a perfect oasis for us to get away and relax.

Thought I was going to have a amazing experience in a beautiful hotel. That is until I found there is no guest laundry, train going by all night, and if you want to sit a the bar and restaurant to relax after your day get there early they close by the time you ask for your second drink. Very misleading and I would recommend finding something a bit more accommodating.

Excellent! That’s all I can say about this place. I come here for business and after being here a couple of times now I am most definitely impressed. Not only the customer service is great, they have an awesome restaurant and bar, and they go above and beyond the call of duty. For instance, while I was out doing work with a client they cleaned up my room and happened to wash one of my favorite T-shirts I had laid out without even knowing that there was a need for it to be washed.

Amazing is all we can say! We had our wedding at The Bristol Hotel in October and the entire experience was nothing but amazing. Chance answered every email and every call, and was more than wonderful to work with. She was kind, knowledgeable, and made sure our day was nothing but spectacular. The staff, worked so hard and were so detailed to give us everything we wanted. Our guests are still talking about the wonderful service from our reception. The Bristol Hotel not only gave us the perfect wedding and wonderful views, but an experience we and our guests will remember for a lifetime. We cannot

I have stayed and hosted dinners at The Bristol Hotel several times. I love it! The rooms are gorgeous. There is a great vibe and the staff is friendly. I usually do not use the complimentary toiletries whilst staying in hotels but even the toiletries are great here. The event staff are always helpful and ensure the dinners and AV are well executed. They always work within my budget and the food is always delicious. Landry has been my server on more than one occasion and he is great. If you need to host a program or just want to stay in a cool hotel, this is the spot for you. The rooftop bar should

Beautiful modern hotel in a historic building. All employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is wonderful, great place to have drinks and watch the sunset. The restaurant, Vivian's, very nice ambiance, great service and the food is excellent. We had dinner there twice, everything from the burger to the steak, delicious. Guest rooms very nicely decorated and comfortable.

We had an amazing wedding weekend. Chance and her staff went well beyond the call of duty to make my daughters wedding a memory that she will never forget. The atmosphere on the rooftop was breathtaking. The food for the event was over the top! Thanks for hard work, friendliness and service. If you are looking for a venue for your function, I highly recommend the Bristol Hotel!!!

This was our first night of a long road trip and decided to stop in Bristol. Very glad we did. The room was comfortable and the size worked great. The staff was friendly from the time we arrived until we checked out the next day. Because it was only one night I cannot speak to room service other than to say the room was very clean when we checked in and the amenities were very nice in the bathroom.
This is definitely worth a stop if heading this way especially with the museum next door and the in hotel restaurant which is also fantastic.

No parking for hotel guests - park on street but there is ample parking - hope no one breaks in my car. Staff at check in were friendly. The elevators ok. The room- nice but some stains on sheets. Natural lighting in the room is nice. Fairly clean otherwise. TV doesn't work. Called front desk and fellow came up to check it out but couldn't fix- it. Offered to move us to other room but maybe same thing would happen there so we didn't move and hotel is busy . Bathroom is decent. Carpets all with stains - maybe fake wood flooring would b better since they allow pets. Maybe check out

If you care about aesthetics above service, this is the place for you. Really pretty place. Keep in mind that there are only about 6 parking spaces on the street, and employees seem to be using these. The other parking is in an unattended public lot about a block away, in the middle of downtown, and there is no bellhop or valet, despite a $300/night room. We were the only people checking in and the 2 guys at the desk watched us struggle to open the doors to push our luggage rack in, with no offer to help. We are at least 20 years older and they just watched! Seriously, one was within arms reach

Choosing a safe place to stay overnight during COVID is not easy. Recent reviews of how the staff at The Bristol Hotel are working to maintain a safe and clean environment influenced my decision to make a reservation.
I was not disappointed. Social distancing was followed at the front desk by placing stanchions with velvet ropes six feet away from the desk. The credit card machine remained on the guest side so the employees maintained a safe distance throughout the check in process.
The hotel was not only clean, it was absolutely adorable. My favorite feature was the flush mount above the bed

OMG ..... I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
When we checked in they also took our dinner reservation for the roof top restaurant.
The hotel and rooms were super clean and modern. From the roof top restaurant you can see State street where Virginia and Tennessee meet.

If you know anything about Bristol (TN) they were the first state to open businesses in the US. I've enjoyed the place as I am a fan of racing, and also the country music festival they have in the summer. We were looking for an overnight there and there is not much. We saw a review for this "boutique" hotel and then we saw it by accident as we driving along State Street. Now this hotel is in VA which has very different rules of engagement during COVID, but because the two are only separated by a street they sort of assume the posture of the other. No biggie as I'm from NOVA

What a great hotel! Beautiful, stylish and right in the middle of downtown Bristol,Va. This brick hotel was once a school converted to hotel. As you take the stairs, you can see how it looks like stairwells from a school. It's a dog friendly hotel and they had doggie water and food bowls already in the room for us. It's the little things that count!
Directly across the street from the hotel is a big public park, which I assume concerts may be held there. Great place to walk your fur-babies too. The highlight is the AWESOME rooftop bar and lounge area. In the evening, it&apos

I stayed here, with my children, for Food City Family Race Night on Aug.14. The Bristol is a very nice hotel. The rooms, rooftop views of the city and staff are amazing. Sallie at the front desk went out of her way to make our stay so incredible. I called ahead of our arrival date to see if we could check in early and she said she was going to note the reservation for that request. I got a call from Sallie about 9:00 am as we were on the road to The Bristol that our room would be available when we arrived.

The Bristol Hotel is one of the best hotels that I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Where to start? The first impression was the building, the exterior is very well done. We arrived late and thankfully the restaurant was still open. We checked into our room -beautiful-clean-new Very happy. Bellman pointed out our view of the famous Bristol sign which was cool. Didn't notice the TRAIN at that point (big mistake).
We went down stairs and got seated immediately. The service after was ungodly long Took about 4 minutes to get our drinks while we glanced the menu. About 15 -at least-for our server to return. Long story short. Great food. But not worth the wait
