At Greenwood Vision, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by a licensed optometrist. Not only did they take amazing care of me they managed to fix my glasses get me all set up on short notice and completely save my day I cannot say anything That would do justice to just how great they took care of me I will forever be going to this vision clinic because they know how to take care of people 10 out of 10 Best Place I’ve visited. 🤘💀🤘

I came back to the same business, that has the same name on its website, to find out that they have a record of my payment and will not credit it to my new purchase. Disappointed to say the least. Amazing staff! Dr. Monterola and her staff make me feel totally at ease. They are all warm, friendly, super professional and helpful! Lauren at the front desk helped get me scheduled for an appointment over the phone and recommended the perfect pair of glasses to frame my face during my appointment. I loved my experience here from beginning to end and would highly recommend scheduling your next eye exam here.

I've been coming here for years and love it. The people working here are so sweet and helpful.
They take most insurance and can always seem to get you in fairly quickly. The optimist is knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable while walking you step by step on what she's doing/what it means she's talking about.
They have a pretty good selection of frames and if you can't find ones you love they let you bring your own and sill out the lenses in for you. There's a parking lot across the street which also makes it easy for your visit.

I love them! So knowledgeable and helpful. They break down all the options and the exam is so through.
Dr. Monterola is the new owner! She and her team are so nice. I would definitely recommend going here for any exam, contact, or glasses needs.
They listen to you and help explain your options especially with tricky insurance.
Sure it might be a little more expensive than those online places but you get a better quality product.
Plus wouldn't you want the best for your health and vision?!

I rarely write reviews. Today accidentally broke my glasses after work. I went to Greenwood Optical and they were super helpful. The found a replacement frame for me and worked after hours to swap the lenses to the new frame. It only took 10 minutes but they could say come "back Monday". Excellent service! I will be back for sure.

Grossly incompetent. Doesn't understand how to process insurance claims, doesn't understand benefits, doesn't understand glasses features. Sold me features I didn't want or need, told me they were covered by my insurance, and then weeks later sent me a bill that was 120% larger than the original amount we had agreed upon. They fail the most basic test for a customer, they cannot be trusted. There are lots of eyewear businesses in Seattle that do a perfectly good job. This is not one of them.

The exam was very brief, and the prescription was wrong. I complained when I got the glasses, and the guy said to just wear them for a week or so and see if they get better. He went back to verify that the lenses were made correctly, and said they were. One eye was OK, the other eye was not clear. I was concerned that I would get lazy eye - that I would be seeing out of only the good eye.
I've never had head aches in my life. Now I periodically get them, they aren't bad, and I can ignore them, but I take it as another symptom of a wrong prescription.

I've always had a good experience here! I have gone for my annual vision exam since 2016. Dr. Monterola has been excellent at explaining what she is doing during the exam.
As a student who doesn't have vision insurance, I very much appreciate the cash discount she gives for an eye exam, making it more affordable to get my annual exam and contact exam as school seems to just make my vision worse every year..
The front office staff is very pleasant to interact with, especially a couple years ago when I had an appointment the day the Greenwood fire occurred and they let me know first

The staff here is incredibly nice! They helped me pick out new glasses and got them to me incredibly fast. They worked with me to get a good price and to get glasses that worked for me.
The doctor was also incredible! She worked with me to make sure my contacts were the correct prescription and continued to work with me on medical issues I have with my eyes. Highly recommend!!

Greenwood Optical is Great! The Optometrist is very skilled, detail-oriented, and professional. The entire staff is very helpful and considerate. They also offer a stylish selection of lenses with a variety of materials including environmentally friendly & recycled material. Extremely pleased with this group of eye care professionals!

Since my prescription is unique and I need to get special computer glasses that I use in my QuickBooks and Quicken set up, review, support, and training business, I appreciate that Gary grinds his own lenses, offers fair prices for the one-on-one service and selection of frames and lenses, and it is a locally owned, family based business.
The staff is friendly, informed about eye wear (they advised me not to buy a particular type of lenses due to my prescription and previously were happy to just make a set of lenses
