For the past 10 years I've been helping clients add more color and design to their outdoor spaces. My personal style is cottage-inspired, using flowers along with colorful evergreen foliage to accent borders. While gardening in the Central Valley can be challenging, I believe that anyone with enthusiasm can plant and maintain a beautiful garden.

Services
My love of gardening began when my husband and I moved to our first home in 2002. I started out just like many an inspiring gardener with LOTS of dead plants and a steep learning curve. I muddled my way through until I sought the help of a garden consultant. From there, my confidence grew and I became passionate about creating a garden I loved.
Consultations look very different from what landscape contractors provide. My recommendations come based on my experience in the nursery industry as well as my own trial and error as I advanced from a new gardener to an experienced gardener. I don't sell plants, offer maintenance or installation services.
As a garden designer, my main objective is you, the client. I have learned over the years that gardens are very personal and should represent the homeowner accordingly. Designs are based on the client's desired aesthetic as well as the style of home in which I am designing. Meeting with clients affords me the opportunity to set goals such as the use of color, perennials, evergreens and maintenance.

I hired the Flower Patch to run a flower crown workshop at my sisters hen do and I couldn't have been happier. Everyone was so impressed by the quality of the flowers and thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. People couldn’t stop admiring each others designs. Maria, Sharon and Karen were so lovely and all the hens loved wearing our beautifully unique crowns at our evening meal. I would highly recommend The Flower Patch to anyone.

Maria created amazing flowers, bouquets & hanging installations for my wedding which exceeded my already high expectations. Her dried flowers are equally beautiful as the fresh and I used for hair, crowns & even my place names. I also found The Flower Patch to be good value for such a high quality.

Maria not only created and installed the flowers, but even created wonderful picturesque features for locations around the venue, mounting them in ways we would have never thought of! She can anything when it comes to flower creation!
We cannot thank her enough for the wonderful service provided and we cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for a wedding florist.
