Bonding is a popular method to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. Bonding can be used to correct cracks or gaps in teeth, as a filling after a cavity has been removed, or to cover up stains or discolored teeth. Dr. Chapin has done many thousands of these and uses the most modern methods and quality materials.
Dental bridges are a great way to replace missing teeth. Your existing teeth are used to literally create a bridge to cross the area where your tooth is missing. The bridge consists of two crowns on either end and a pontic, which is the new tooth that replaces your missing tooth. Our bridges are custom created in full ceramic for strength and beauty.
Over time our teeth begin to weaken and become more susceptible to problems such as fracture, decay, cracks, discoloration and others. If you feel your smile isn't what it once was, crowns can help you recover your smile. Teeth that break due to trauma ( yes that cherry pit or popcorn kernel ) or have old, large filling that are worn-out or decayed may require crowns.

Dr. Chapin's office has been very professional, friendly, and accommodating for my elderly mother's dental needs. She does not dread her appointments, as the hygenists are very kind and gentle while performing cleaning, X-rays and other services. I've been a patient here for many years. Dr. Chapin runs a tight, honest ship. Today, Irene was the dental hygienist. She was professional and gentle. She said something not many people do..."I am curious" about a particular condition of one of my teeth. She summoned the doc and it was not an issue...but I appreciate someone who is curious and acts on it...well done!

Dr. Edward Chapin is a superb dentist who is professional & efficient. I've seen him twice in the last year -- once to have him fill my front tooth where part of it chipped off, and once to have him fill in an area in my molar. He is so quick at what he's doing he's done before I know it, and since I dread going to dentists (both of my grandfathers were dentists) he makes the visit very short and tolerable. He makes humorous small talk while he's working on your teeth which makes the visit almost pleasurable. I've been seeing him over 15 years; his office manager Michelle has been with him forever
