Growing up in Southern California, Dr. Kevin Ju rarely saw a dentist as a child, but did spend many hours every day riding his tricycle around his neighborhood while licking a big lollipop. That unhealthy habit led to cavities, and many sleepless nights trying to endure the resulting mouth pain.
Once he started high school, Dr. Ju felt the urge to become a dentist, a feeling that later returned when an old friend suggested that he enter the profession.Let me start by saying I have had some pretty awful experiences at the dentist my whole life. Dr Kevin Ju has a profound passion for dental implants and has earned an esteemed Fellow status at International Congress of Oral Implantology (FICOI) and is highly qualified to place and restore dental implants. Many more dentists place dental implants these days, but understanding the foundation of implantology, biology, and physics, is lacking in many dentists.
We do our best to offer the best care to keep your teeth strong and healthy. Unfortunately, there may come a time when a tooth is beyond the point of being saved. It might be loose due to gum disease, or you may have an impacted tooth needing to be removed. Regardless, we provide quality care to our patients needing to have one or more of their teeth removed.
Your wisdom teeth are typically the very last to come in. It's not uncommon for them to begin to show on dental x-rays around the time a person is 18. Unfortunately, most patients do not have enough room for the wisdom teeth to come in fully. This causes them to become impacted, which means they are unable to come through the gums.
Infants, toddlers, children, and teens all benefit from routine dental care. By taking a proactive approach to their smile, their teeth will stay healthy and strong for life. Adopting healthy habits and instilling the importance of going to the dentist early in life can help them to keep up with these habits later on.

I made an emergency appointment for tooth pain and Dr. Ju and his staff were able to accomodate me. The examination was extremely thorough, from the multiple x-rays and high resolution color pictures taken showing a cracked filling to Dr. Ju's steady hands, where I felt no discomfort during entire filling procedure. I'll surely recommend folks to this clinic.

Honestly this is the best dentist I've gone to and that's saying a lot! I have a fear of the dentist and avoided going for a bit (which is extremely stupid I know). I finally decided to be seen and I found this place through Yelp. I am so glad for yelp because I have had the best experience with Dr.Ju and his team. They are all so friendly and BEYOND accommodating. Due to my insurance and certain procedures I have had to come back a couple of times within a month span. I’m not a fan of the dentist and haven’t been in a while. I went to this office and met the dentist and two other dental associates. They gave me a tour, answered all my questions and most importantly made me feel completely comfortable. I then booked my appointment and I have to say they did a great job, there was very little pain and again they made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. This will be my dentist for the foreseeable future. I’m never write reviews but they are great!

Had a tooth ache that no other dentist seemed to be able to explain to me. Dr. Ju was able to give me a clear explanation that made sense. On top of that he was able to provide with a lot of dental care on short notice. Very accommodating and tried the to make the whole experience as comfortable as possible.

I have lived in CA since 1980 and have never found a dentist that I felt I could trust, who was gentle and not trying to rip me off until today. Hooray, that I read the Yelp reviews and went to Hello Smile. What a great experience. I have such a fear of dentists that I have previously walked out of other offices. The prices I was charged was very fair. The treatment was excellent. Everyone was patient and kind. I am actually looking forward to going back and getting my additonal treatments handled. By far the best dentist I've ever been to! The staff was friendly, the space was Exceptionally CLEAN with TVs on the ceiling's.
Dr Ju worked his magic! Wow! He was Very detailed. I had four fillings,deep cleaning & ordered a custom mouth piece all in one session!

I found Hello Smile after going to 2 other dentists who were absolutely horrible. Hello Smile has exceeded my expectations and Dr. Ju has been truly fantastic. He is very calm, professional, caring, and knowledgeable. The entire staff there is very friendly and they all make me feel very much at home. I recently booked a consultation at hello smile for braces for my son and a general Dentist for me family. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience from start to finish. A bright beautifully appointed office with kind and friendly staff welcomed me and the dentists were both Informative, kind and well achieved. I recently came here for a dental check-up just last week. It honestly has been a long time coming and I was a bit nervous. However, Dr. Ju is an amazing dentist. I can see how personable and genuine he is from the moment I stepped in.

Normally I would go to my parents dentist but she was booked up. So I found the card in a mailer for this dentist. What a joke! I go in and I know I will need a lot of work on my teeth. I have a PPO insurance. But the usual $1500 coverage. We discuss my case. It's the Asst talked my ear off, looked at the X-rays . Said oh doesn't look good. Dental 101 never speak for a dentist! I know I am a registered dental asst. Dr. Ju looks at my mouth, barely speaks to me about my case and cleans my teeth quickly. The asst polished them so quickly I feel 2 months later like they were never cleaned

Dr Ju is a great dentist. His office is normally not open on the weekends due to the current ongoing pandemic, and due to my hectic schedule, he's been allowing me to schedule appointments on the weekend.
He's very professional, the site is clean, and his work exceeds expectations. I forget his assistant's name (I'm sorry I'll try to remember it next time) but her work also exemplary.

Hello smile dental is a hidden gem in Simi Valley. My daughter is not the biggest fan of dentists and fights not to go screaming bloody murder every single time, but I found this place and the staff and dentist were awesome.
