If you wonder if a traumatic brain injury (TBI) can affect smell and taste, the answer is yes. For many people, this is an alarming prospect, because smell and taste are important senses in our lives. But for those who suffer a TBI, the loss of these senses is a real phenomenon. What is the Importance.
NeuLife patients experience significant functional gains during their care. We use two nationally recognized tools to measure outcomes, Functional Independence Measure (FIM) and Mayo-Portland Adaptability Inventory (MPAI). Brain Injury: 81% functional improvement from admission to discharge for patients with brain injuries.
Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation at NeuLife focuses on the delivery of a comprehensive, highly integrated and intensive program of medical care, nursing and therapy to address the complex needs of each patient. We provide the earliest possible start to rehabilitation and work to optimize the abilities and independence of our patients so that they may return home.
Each year more than 90,000 people sustain injuries considered severe enough to produce long-term disability that require catastrophic rehabilitation. NeuLife provides catastrophic rehab to individuals who have suffered a multitude of significant injuries or traumas. We design our post acute rehabilitation to help patients reach their highest functional potential following a catastrophic injury.

1 star. Be careful! Not everything that looks good on the outside. Is necessarily good on the inside! I worked here as a Counselor, an Christian Chaplain from 7/1/20 to 12/6/21#Christian #Jesusisgood#seniors … We took care of our Mom for 14 years in Orlando. So we have some good hands on, personal knowledge of what works. I personally met over 200 patient's at different places my Mom stayed through the years. The most important ingredient for any facility, should be love. Love of God, an love of thy neighbor.(Others.)#tbinomoresv

We brought our newly quadriplegic son to Neulife because the marketing rep and admissions staff said the place specializes in brain injury and/or spinal cord injury rehab.
Some of the physical therapists were good at their jobs but therapy was available only 5 days a week. Trained nurses were mostly ok. But exec. management paid little attention even when they were available. Very money oriented.
There was no Doctor regularly in the facility and when talking to patients and family he was rude and uncaring. Terrible attitude and bedside manner.
Unacceptable that a rehab facility where most patients

My name is Nick I was a patient at NeuLife from June until October 2021, this place is truly amazing and they will change a person's life for the better. They literally perform miracles every day. I was hit by a car as a pedestrian back in June this year, and by October I was walking within 4 months they had me walking that was unthinkable, especially after what I went through, I thought I'd be in a wheelchair for months and wouldn't be able to walk for a long time. But these people really know their stuff and they're very professional, friendly, courteous and the whole staff is amazing!!! I will

I recently suffered a back injury after lifting heavy weights in the gym. A friend recommended NeuLife Rehabilitation and it was very easy to schedule a consult. They were able to work around my busy schedule. The staff are polite and professional. The therapy lasted four months and they slowly nurtured by back to health. I wish them all the best and thank you for all the care and patience.

Several months ago, the staff at NeuLife helped me recover from a nasty work accident. It was a difficult time for me and my family, but the staff was there to guide me every step of the way. I’m happy to report that I have fully recovered from my injuries and is fit to go back to work again. Just would like to thank them for the care they provided during these difficult times.

I am so happy that I chose NeuLife for my recovery. They made the whole process as easy as possible. Their team provided great support and they were really professional, but still very friendly. I felt and knew deep down in my heart that I was in good hands, which helped me greatly. I couldn’t thank them enough for changing my life and making this experience a positive one. They are everything that a rehab center should be and I highly recommend them to everyone in need.
