Aside from correcting vision problems, an eye exam can catch other health concerns. Eye exams are crucial for detecting glaucoma, macular degeneration, and graves disease.
An estimated 25% of school-aged children suffer from vision problems. Simple vision screenings, like the ones done in schools, are not always enough to detect issues with your child's sight. I have been purchasing my vision care for years with all the professionals at West Coast Optical. This latest purchase was a challenge for the staff including the Optometrist. They all nailed it, the new lenses and my fabulous designer frames are perfect. Attention to details and making the customer happy is their only objective. Prices are also competitive. My vision is precious and I trust the CARE to West Coast Optical. .

Like many optical places. West coast optical has a good selection of frames/sunglasses. The difference that makes west coast optical deserving of a 5 star is the staff. Everyone is genuinely kind and personable. Dr Wong is a great optometrist. She is knowledgeable in her craft and she explains everything in great detail which is always appreciated. The front staff is amazing. They will guide you all the way without making you feel pressured to buy. You can tell these people love working there and it radiates to the customers. My family has been a loyal customer since 2016.

Never have i been to an optical place that was soo patient and helpful. Sandi has been nothing short of awesome and all the staff is friendly and accommodating. I've been looking for just the right pair of glasses and while I havent got them yet, I've gone in a numbers of times to see and revisit my options and have never felt pressure to make a decision before im ready. I got contacts too and she was great about giving me lots of options to try out first to see which felt best in my eyes and when I was ready to pull the trigger, Sandi was there to help me out. Highly recommend Sandi and the team

The staff at West Coast Optical were extremely helpful. Even when I changed my mind on frames, they let me choose new ones. I’m thrilled with them now and have had many compliments. I’m so excited with the reading option on the Maui Jim sunglasses. I’ve dealt with them for as long as I’ve lived in Langley which is about 20 years and have never been disappointed.

I have purchased a couple pair of office lenses here over the past few years. Staff is super-friendly, helpful and know what they’re doing. Great optometrist too. (Dr. Grace Wong). Optical associate Carol also expertly helped me find a frame I love. Everyone here makes for a strong team. Highly recommend this shop over larger “fancy” stores.

Friendly service and OK selection of glasses. Also nice to have an eye doctor on site who is very pleasant. I have bought several glasses here and unfortunately the prices have seemed to have increased to about the same level as competitors. Probably will continue to shop there though as it is convenient for myself and my wife.

I've never been treated this well at an optical place before. Andrew was courteous, helpful and didn't pressure me in the least. He offered a variety of options, but quickly realized that nothing in stock was going to do. So he showed me a number of options he would order in samples for, and they arrives a few days later. I bought a pair that I'm incredibly happy with.
