I’ve worked for Griswold for the past 2 years and my experience has been amazing. I’ve met so many wonderful patients and the coordinators have been so diligent and helpful through COVID and staff shortages. I would recommend Griswold to any caregivers looking to provide wonderful care and to any clients wanting to receive quality in-home care.

I am not the patient, my brother was. I was there for the initial meeting with supervisor and his first session. He absolutely loved it and it made a huge difference in his physical and emotional well-being. My brother is now in a nursing home/rehabilitation facility on a permanent basis and we no longer use Griswold but I highly recommend you to anyone that needs help everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and professional. Currently we are using one of the Care Givers from the Griswold Home Care. The Care Giver take my wife one day of the week to her exercise class and then to her art class. She enjoys the care give and looks forward to the morning with her. They have a great relationship.

We called and set up care for my father. They came one day. The next day I received a call at 7:00 am stating the person scheduled did not have childcare and they would call me back after they found someone else to come stay with my father. that was 10 days ago and they never contacted us again. My father is unable to care for himself. This is unacceptable! They forced us to miss work and stressed my dad out. He has had multiple strokes and we needed a company we could trust. My wife and I have depended on Griswold Home Care for a few years now because of her inability to ambulate and dialysis/kidney failure. All of our caregivers have been very caring, compassionate and professional in all stages of care. I have referred to Griswold in my professional capacity for over 10 years now and have used them personally in caring for my mother. The owners are committed to meeting the needs of their clients and have a high standard for their caregivers to meet. On a personal note, they provided substitute caregivers when someone did not work out with my mother and their coordinators checked in on us to make sure our needs were met. It's difficult to find great caregivers, but I trust Griswold to do their best in finding a good match.

My goal was to care for my husband at home as he continued his journey with Alzheimer's. As his confusion and need for assistance with all tasks grew , it was clear that I needed help. My Griswold team gave me that help and a little space for me to recharge. I have had in-home assistance for 10 years. The first 9 years were with one agency, and for the last 7 of those years I had the same assistant. In July of last year that agency was bought out by one new to San Antonio, and my longtime assistant retired. The next six months with the new agency were pure hell. We started a relationship with Griswold in June of 2018. We had used other agencies prior because of not knowing who to turn to. Big learning experience because of letting someone in your home and to care of my mother we received a variety of characters!
