Our clinic has served Round Rock and greater Austin for over 26 years. We are a family owned business who pride ourselves in making our patients feel like family. Our mission is to help patients feel as comfortable during their treatment as they would in their own homes. Our clinic offers acupuncture & cupping treatments as well as prescriptions for Chinese herbal supplements.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the oldest forms of natural medical treatment still available today. More people now look to holistic non-invasive healing to defer from the side effects of modern medicine. Acupuncture can treat a wide degree of aliments because it helps your body to heal itself.

Sue founded AACMC in 1993, she is a first generation acupuncturist licensed in the state of Texas (AC0030). She received her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Texas Health and Science University (formerly known as Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine). Sue is also a licensed herbalist, Diplomat of Oriental Medicine Diplo.
Acupuncture is an ancient healing art that has been around for 2,000 years and has withstood the test of time. It works by balancing your body's energy through the insertion of tiny needles in specific points in the body called acu-points. We all have pathways of energy that run through our bodies.
Acupuncture increases blood circulation and releases endorphins which promote relaxation. There is very little pain associated with acupuncture for the majority of people. While some patients feel only a slight pin prick, distention, heaviness and soreness- others feel nothing at all. Unlike hypodermic needles, acupuncture needles are very thin-about the diameter of a single human hair.
Acupuncture is an eastern form of medicine. The insertion of the needles produces natural chemicals in the body called endorphins, which help decrease pain. The overall goal of acupuncture is to reduce pain while increasing blood flow and stimulating muscles and nerves throughout the body. The philosophy behind acupuncture is achieving balance throughout your body.
Sue and her team have simply the best acupuncture treatment you will ever receive. Sue not only has the ability to access her clients needs but also the ability to provide insight on what ails you. I have had treatments from all of the acupuncturist and while each one has their own unique style they are all effective.

My toddler had horrible allergies and nothing was helping him get better. We decided to try acupuncture/pressure and after 2 treatments he was so much better. Sue made it a fun experience for him and was very patient with him.

I’ve been going to Sue’s acupuncture clinic regularly for 25 years. It is superb! I have always left feeling better. I’ve been helped through several health crisis events and I credit the treatments I received as helping me recover. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Prodigy… the “it” factor… that special skill, talent or ability to do it better than the rest because that person was born with “it.” When it comes to acupuncturist Sue is the one with the “it” factor for me. Her treatments are amazing at opening up energy pathways in the body. She takes the time to do it right and provide the best treatment possible in a relaxed calm energy environment. I often get a nap in with my treatments. It’s the perfect escape from my high stress job and brings my body back in balance. Sue opened the first acupuncture clinic in Round Rock. To stand the

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I was talked into acupuncture, but let her know that I was having anxiety about it. Seconds in my body started having an anxiety attack and I began to hyperventilate. I was crying and asking her to remove the needles as they were hurting from how tense I was, “Dr.” Sue wouldn’t remove them and insisted I sat in the attack with the needles deep for “5 more minutes”. To this day that visit ranks high in one of the worst days of my life. When the needles were finally removed my muscles and body felt like they had been cut and bruised. The worst experience

Love Acupuncture Associates! I've been coming here for 4 years and can actually say that they've made my life so much better. I originally needed help with my kidneys but keep going for overall health and wellness. Sue, Angelica and Laura are all incredible and the receptionist is always super sweet and accommodating. They have great techniques and have a ton of knowledge and experience. I would absolutely recommend this business for any health concerns as well as total body wellness.
