Services
Midbay Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities and a closely supervised hospitalization area.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate by appointment only. We do reserve a few appointment slots each day for patients that need to be seen right away. However, emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable.
Dr. Chapman was born in Texas and grew up in Hunstville, AL. She moved to Niceville in 2005 after graduating veterinary school and practiced up in Crestview for nine years at the same clinic. In the summer of 2014 she left the clinic in Crestview to open her own place locally. She is married to Stewart Chapman and has a daughter.
Natasha began working as a veterinary technician under Dr. Chapman at the local veterinary emergency clinic in 2014. Midbay Vet Hospital is privileged that she chose to leave her previous day job to come manage the hospital. With over 14 years of veterinary experience, she is a talented addition to the practice and an absolute asset to the doctors, veterinary nurses, and clients that she works with.

I couldn't be more impressed with this veterinarian clinic we've been using them since 2017, so just over four years. They've been great to both of our dogs one is a lab mix, and the other a full black lab. Both dogs were up in years and they have just been so great with our dogs, including putting one of them down, which is so hard for any pet owner. Anytime we've had issues they've come with multiple solutions and allow us to choose. The facility is so amazingly clean, and the staff is exceptionally trained. I've gone to veterinarian clinics all over the country as

Love love love them. Being taking our lab who is 12 there since 2017. As the dog has gotten older she is not as friendly and they are amazing with her. Also they give us great options for treatment, and urgent appointments when we needed that on a rare event. They are exactly what our family looks for in a vet. We’ve had labs and lab mixes for almost 15 years.

Midbay Veterinary Hospital embraced our sweet Zoey as if she were their own old puppy. She was in an unfortunate accident, and we rushed her there minutes before they closed. They accepted her and performed an emergency life-saving surgery on our 14-year-old dog. I will never forget the words Dr. Chapman said, “If she will fight then I will fight for her.” Our dog was a spunky, little fighter and the wonderful doctors and staff supported her with love and excellent care all along the way. Because of their expertise, we had 24 more sweet days with our beloved Zoey. Midbay Veterinary Hospital

I've finally found my vet. I've taken dogs to 4 different vets in the area but Midbay in my opinion is just the best. We've been there several times and the environment is clean, there's little wait time, the Vets are so easy to talk with and they use excellent diagnosis processes. Very knowledgeable. Onsite equipment is great. Lab work (blood testing, x-rays, ultrasound) done during visit and with very little wait time. The bill was much less than expected. The vet techs were personable, caring, knowledgeable. So happy I found them and they're 5 minutes from home. But I'd drive from the other

Wonderful, caring, compassionate staff! I have a fearful chihuahua puppy, with an abusive past, who will not hesitate to bite when he feels threatened (which is often, he's a chihuahua 🤷♀️). Midbay has seen a lot of him over the past few months, due to a broken leg which required regular bandage changes. During this process, my pup was uncooperative, to say the least. Every single staff member was patient with him, moving slowly and making huge efforts to win his trust and help him feel comfortable. When we were there last week, for his neuter, he had progressed to the point where he

I think it’s important to start off by saying I’m actually an out of state customer. Mid Bay Vet was our vet for 6 years before moving and we recently found ourselves needing a major abdominal surgery for our German Shepherd so we came back. We just picked up our fur baby from their operation and having to stay over night. Special thanks to Stephanie, who was amazing with communication via text and sending pictures of our Shepherd for some extra reassurance as she recovered. Mid Bays prices were also fair and realistic for the surgery. Many thanks everyone!!

I arrived ten minutes early for my 11:20 appointment. I asked the receptionist at 11:45 when I would be seen. She said they were running late due to "emergencies." I was told I had to wait another 10 minutes. The person who was seen right before me was considered 'urgent care' for an eye scratch follow-up and obviously wasn't scheduled. So, my appointment was getting pushed back for over 40 minutes for a non-emergency. This vet should have the non-emergency cases wait so scheduled pets can be soon first.

The miscommunication between receptionist, staff, and doctor are poorly lacking. I completely understand being busy. But, this is the health of animals. Hire someone else so that everything is taken care of and that people are not left on hold for 15 minutes. Everyone is friendly, they just fail to remember to mention important small details that affect an animals well-being.

My husband gave the rating of how he felt at the appointment (2). Next day, phone call from office ended with us being terminated and to seek care elsewhere. Really! It was resolved then crash and burn. So off we go to different provider. That's life. The kicker:. I get the letter, not him, the one who rated. That's fine, I stand proudly with his reasoning.

Took my dog in for her yearly exam and they were so thorough. Everyone was so gente with my little dog who is always very nervous at the vet. The tech explained everything that they would be doing and answered all of my questions. Reasonably priced for the quality of care. We will definitely go back!

Amazing and incredibly professional staff. They were so gentle and loving to my dog and suggested the best methods for flea, heart worm, and tick treatment. Things were right on time and his check up was quick yet thorough. I'm just so impressed with everyone who works there and will definitely be recommending this vet to everyone.

My daughter took our cat to Midbay twice. The second time she was 5 minutes late and the receptionist reprimanded her rudely. After waiting a few minutes she decided she doesn't want to stay and left. A month later we received a letter from Midbay telling us that they will not deliver any further services to us due to my dauthter's "unprofessional" behavior.
1. My daughter is 16!
2. This is a service we pay for!!
3. They are not the only animal clinic in town!!!
Really??

Since Dr. Brightman retired, I needed to find another vet. Dr Chapman of Midbay Vet spent an hour with me when I took my cat in today. Which was amazing, I have never spent so much time with a vet before and it was really appreicated. My cat is kind of a handful and has tremendous anxiety about going to the vet. So he was a mess, hissing and shaking really bad. She took her time with him and talked a long time with me about his arthitis in his hip. I was even lucky enough too get some X-rays done to calm my nervous about a prior surgery he had to have done. In 7 years since the surgery no other
