Jana is our loyal Hygienist. She has been with Timpanogos Dental for over 13 years! Growing up in California and Utah, she enjoys skiing, unlike the rest of us. She loves her family, going on girls' trips and is a seasoned world traveler. Her smile lights up a room! She is so amazing with patients of all ages and is always happy to help the team.
For both adults and children our Dental Hygienists remove soft and hard deposits from teeth, teach good oral hygiene, and provide other preventive dental care. They examine our patients' teeth and gums, recording the presence of diseases or abnormalities. Kids and adults have unique health needs, especially when it comes to healthy smiles.
Periodontal (gum) disease is insidious. It is an infection of the gums that starts out as plaque, an opaque film on the teeth that hardens to form tartar. As tartar accumulates, it harbors bacteria that attack the soft tissue around the gums. This is the early stage of gum disease known as Gingivitis.

Office staff is very friendly. I hate going to the dentist because my toes end up hurting from curling them to combat the pain. Jana was amazing I have never had a dentist clean my teeth so well and it didn’t hurt at all. Loved it!! I will be going back every 6 months as recommended to have them take care of me. Dr. Tayler and his staff are A+ I highly recommend them.

Dr. Tayler is easily one of the best dentists I've ever visited. He and his staff are so friendly, communicative, and careful. I had never felt comfortable in a dentist's chair before visiting the American Fork office--and ended up feeling so comfortable with the Timp Dental team that I was willing to spend nearly 5 hrs straight in the chair for fillings one day.
If you hate going to the dentist but want to take care of your teeth, see Dr. Tayler. (Bonus: Renee who runs the administration of the offices is FANTASTIC. You'll love her.)

Dr. Tayler is the best family dentist we've ever had! He is thoughtful, calling us after a major, or sometimes a simple, procedure. He takes the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions. His staff is friendly and always very accommodating. He is conservative with filling cavities - often giving our teeth time to remineralize when possible. My boys and I love Timpanogos Dental. Before finding them, I went to a different dentist every 6 months for many years because none of them impressed me. I'm so glad I found Timpanogos Dental and we've been going there for about 15 years now.
When my boys were babies/toddlers I learned that Dr. Taylor and the staff were even better with them than the pediatric dentist (even my anxiety-prone son) so we left the pediatric dentist for Dr. Taylor also. Dr. Taylor and staff are the perfect mix of professional and casual. They seem to always be on schedule somehow even though I feel that Dr. Taylor

I ENJOYED being at the dentist! The hygienist, Hayley, was entertaining and personable as well as informative for my individual dental needs. Dr. Taylor was so helpful in teaching me how to take my potential cavity back to healthy teeth so that I don’t have to pay for fillings! I love a provider who has my best interest in mind when providing care. Great place! Even the receptionist was enjoyable!

Doctor Tayler is a great dentist. The staff is friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. I have never left the office questioning my treatment or billing/payment. I've never been a fan of the dentist until now. The staff has worked with me on some urgent procedures. I had no appointment, but they worked with me & my work schedule. I didn't have to take time off! I am so grateful they are close by!

What a great experience! Dr. Tayler and his staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Tayler takes the time to actually explain things to his patients and doesn't talk down to them. Other dentists I've been to always seem to over-schedule and this isn't the case here. I really appreciate that they value my time. I recommend Timpanogos Dental highly.

Update: Had me wait 45 minutes after my appt was supposed to start, received a mere "Sorry about that." Then scheduled a filling appt, which they forgot about / never wrote down. Showed up and was turned away. Funny how they make my pay for missing an appt but don't pay me for the same thing.
