Can’t say enough good things about this place. Professional, welcoming and a positive healing space. If you’re new and thinking about trying acupuncture, this is s great place to try it as cost is based on an affordable sliding scale. And same goes if you’re a regular! I’ve been coming here for years and have brought friends and family here, too.

This is a great place to receive acupuncture treatment. You receive personal attention while paying an affordable fee. The acupuncturists will work with you around your needs or a particular medical diagnosis. For the first visit, you might want to ask for a more private time so you can share infos with them. It is a warm place, very professional, they have a honest approach and let you k ow if they need to do some research to try to address a particular problem.I definitely recommend this place.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Open Space and the wonderful and caring practitioners. They helped support my fertility and pregnancy, as well as an array of minor aches and ailments along the way. The clinic is one of the things I really miss in moving away from Somerville.

I am so very thankful for this clinic. It is so accommodating in every way. Not only does the sliding scale make it so that I can get regular treatments when I need to, but the scheduling and walk-in option makes it super easy to get in whenever I have time, making it more likely that I'll go. Even if I haven't been in a while Daphne remembers what issues I've been working on in the past and she has a wondering soothing energy that lends ease to an already healing and peaceful atmosphere. Would give more stars if I could!

Open Space is a great place to receive treatment. The community acupuncture approach makes treatment affordable. The acupuncturists are experienced, kind, and attentive to your individual needs, even if those needs vary from treatment to treatment. The environment is relaxing and--despite the community setting--I often don't notice when other patients are coming/going.

Great experience - incredibly restful and also effective. I actually enjoy getting acupuncture in the open environment compared to a 1:1 session - it's more affordable and relaxing. I went here somewhat regularly before I moved and found it definitely helped with colds and allergies. Worth a visit if you live in or near Union Square!

I have been to Open Space a number of times AND have brought a few other people who had never experienced acupuncture before. Simply put, it is awesome. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The setting is cozy and relaxing. The price is amazing. I enjoy it thoroughly. If you need quiet, bring ear plugs because there is sure to be at least one person snoring a bit. I know I get a good nap every time I go. Also, it's very easy to make or change appointments. Nearby parking is cheap and readily available.

I started going to Open Space at the beginning of last summer. I had severe lower back pain and nothing else could kick it. Daphne listened sensitively to my issues and provided me with gentle, responsive care. It's incredible, after each session I could feel myself getting healthier and stronger. The business model of the place is very inspiring as well. I recommend Open Space to all my friends

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Daphne and her team are fantastic. She really knows her stuff! At first, I wasn't sure how I'd like the open room with so many chairs--but I quickly found out it's just great. The chairs are so comfortable and they slide all the way back. It's peaceful, with lovely music playing softly in the background. I especially appreciated the sliding scale, and that there is parking in the back, a plus in this area! I go back as often as I can afford it, because not only did it help my back injury, it left me feeling a sense of peace that lasted for days

I was dealing with a chronic injury that rest and traditional methods weren't really helping. Going to Open Space was a blessing for me...it's affordable and the staff are in-tune with their client's needs. Also, being able to book appointments online was very convenient.
If you haven't tried acupuncture, I would recommend trying Open Space (preferably at least twice). The results are amazing, and whenever I have another health problem, I'll be back.

Every time I go to Open Space Community, I get refresh, get energy and my tired body come back to health. I see clearly the effectiveness of Acupuncture for my health. I feel grateful very much to what I am receiving in Open Space Community. The practitioner has a gifted personality and is friendly and generous. I like her very much. The encounter with this practitioner and Open Space Community is one of the best gifts I have had in Boston.

This is a different kind of acupuncture experience but as long as you know that you are going to be in a room with other people, then you should feel comfortable. It's nice that you can stay for as little or long as you like because there's not someone waiting to get in the room. I think the attention you get is the same as going to a private practitioner. I have always left feeling better than I did when I walked in the door. There are several different practitioners but I've had good treatments from all of them.
