Bags of Fun began as a wish of very special little girl, Gabby Krause, who sadly, at only six years old, lost a courageous 19-month battle with brain cancer. Gabby had the original Bag of Fun, which was filled with toys and fun activities to keep her entertained and happy during long hospital visits and chemotherapy treatments.
I have been with Brookside Real Estate Company since October of 2002, and have worn many hats within the company, including co-broker, agent, and office manager. Upon graduating from UMKC with degrees in Sociology, Psychology and Law, I became a practicing attorney for 26 years, and handled a large number of cases involving real estate issues.
Since 1998, I have been a successful Real Estate Agent in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. With hundreds of past transactions, I am a well regarded Realtor and area specialist. In addition to my deep connections throughout the city and real estate community I volunteer at my church and in various organizations.
I was born and raised in Brookside, attending both St. Francis and St. Peter's for grade school and then graduated from Bishop Hogan High School. I began working at Meiner's Grocery Store, literally next door, just west to the Brookside Real Estate office (currently Jimmy John's and Mike's). After 16 years in the grocery business, I decided to make a career change.

We recently sold a property with Brookside Realty, agent Jim Kraus. We were extremely happy with his responsiveness and communication style with us. Thanks to Jim we've purchased two houses and have sold one of them.
First off... Jim knows everyone. In our search for both homes (2011 and 2016) he knew the moment that a house was posted for sale or about to hit market just from word of mouth. In today's world, that gave us a huge buying advantage. Plus, after searching through what seemed like thousands of photos online, the moment that my wife and I saw a property that we wanted to see in-person, we'd toss Jim a quick text message and 99.9% of the time we had a message back saying... "booked it".
