Lyle graduated from Loma Linda University in 1969 with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy. He started his physical therapy career with Memorial Hospitals Association in Modesto, California as a Director of Physical Therapy until 1996. In 1977, he became co-owner of Andersen and Baim Physical Therapy, which later became Andersen Physical Therapy in 2006.
