Gathering family and food has always been a tradition in our family. Chef Neil comes from a family of great cooks, still using some family recipes today. Family has always been important to us and brings back many fond memories. We started in a small hotel parking lot in mid 2017. Eventually moving to a larger parking lot and more events.

Still growing in 2020 we've branched into more catering. We're officially launching our new name, The Soulful Chef Food Truck & Catering in 2021 with excitement. In 2021 you will have a unique experience with expanded menus, including more catering for office lunches, outdoor/indoor events, special occasions, popup events and more.

The menu may change with the season, but each entree is prepared with heart & soul for your pleasure, plus put a smile on your face. Truck Menu Report

Smaller version of our Fried Fish Platter 1 fish fillet on a sandwich bun with dressing of choice. Neil's special recipe burger with fixings of choice - double burger option - with or without cheese. Yummy chicken wing choices to suit your palate - Garlic Pepper - Lemon Pepper - BB! Style - Buffalo Style.

Our Soul Food Buffet Catering provides a variety of American and Soul food delicious cuisine for your special occasion; both hot and cold that you will enjoy, for your birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement and other occasions. We serve the surrounding Fort Worth Texas area including Arlington, White Settlement, Burleson, Saginaw and Weatherford.

They catered my friend's wedding and the food was delicious! We had rice, chicken, beef, garlic mashed potatoes, pita bread, and sauce for the meat (peanut and chili). Everything was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend them for all event types!

Everything was fresh and delicious. I'm at a loss for words really. Sausage and cabbage were well seasoned and prepared. There were so many layers of flavor, I wasn't prepared for the experience.

The fish platter was light and delicious. Again a wonderful experience.

Bonus! Deserts Chef Neil's lemon cake was so light and delicious. The perfect balance after a wonderful meal. I've already recommended to family, and will definitely be back often to travel through the menu.

The Soulful Chef Neil definitely puts the soul back into soul food. His menu is full of all kinds of foods, while making sure he cooks the most healthy options. I love going here, and not even on my "cheat day" because he always has extremely healthy options that coincide with my diet goals.

The Soulful Chef fed my family tonight and it was excellent. Not one complaint
We had a fish plate , Jambalaya meal , Double burger meal , & Chicken wings /fries .
Each dish was seasoned to perfection. The… fish was cooked just right . That burger OMG it was the bomb Even his Texas toast was excellent. My family never eats the bread , today they ate it all and was fighting over the last piece !!!

We tried a few different things and they were all amazing! The SoulPhilly was so yummy. The wings, the brisket were delicious! I highly recommend them. We’ll be back!

Stopped by tonight for some dinner and it did not disappoint! The brisket melts in your mouth, the red beans and rice is everything, and the kids ate all their fish and half of mine before I could sit down. Thank you! It was wonderful!

Best damn ribs I've had in a long time! I got the 3 meat plate (ribs, sausage,& brisket) all very tender and juicy. Plate comes with 2 sides and toast. I had red beans and rice & coleslaw

Chef Neil is amazing. I've had the red beans and rice and it was so good!! We are also fans of the Philly cheesesteak. I don't know what he does, but it is so delicious! Go see him. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing! Was driving by and decided to stop! My bf got the pork chop sandwich and it was soooo good! I got the sausage and cabbage and it was so flavorful!! Caught me by surprise. Definitely will be searching to go again!

I tried a sampler yesterday while they were parked at Hop Fusion. I was expecting great, but instead, we received awesome TX BBQ. The pork ribs were perfectly tender but not over cooked. The brisket was spot on and the mild sausage was some of the best I have had. With just the right amount of smoke on it all I call it a big win. Oh, and please try the the jalapeño Cole slaw - wow.
