At Pixie Pre-School, our philosophy is to provide children with a safe, caring environment where they can develop an excitement about learning. We are a non-sectarian private school located in Spotswood dedicated to having each child feel good about themselves and school.
Our programs provide toddlers and preschoolers with many learning experiences and are designed to enhance social skills, verbal communication, emotional growth, intellectual awareness, and strengthen physical capabilities.These programs teach the skills that children need for school and for life. Our full day hours are 7am - 6:00pm and half day hours are 9am - 12:30pm.

Services
Every student, regardless of what age group, experience many of the same activities in the course of the day. CHILD DIRECTED PLAY is a part of the day in every classroom. It is designed to give every child the freedom to choose the center that interests him/her the most. This may include blocks, puzzles, dramatic play, library, arts and crafts, various manipulatives, etc.

I went to pixie pre-school almost forty years ago. Five years ago my son went there for all his pre-school years. What a strong foundation it laid for him going into kindergarten, emotionally and socially, he was more then ready and has excelled every year since. It has such a kind and caring atmosphere, its a smaller school so there is definitely more personal, and nurturing feel. The staff is so friendly and dedicated, they have always gone above and beyond my expectations. My son always loved the stories and games and projects he engaged in. I could not say enough good things about Pixie!!!
