The place was very nice and clean, and they were extremely kind and welcoming! Called for a reservation for New Years Eve day, they were very friendly and accommodating the day of. I was able to make an appointment for two of us for a mani/pedi. We arrived thirty minutes early, the salon was full, we were greeted and offered something to drink and invite in to have a seat.

Today was my first visit to this salon, after four other places! Jacob was absolutely amazing with my gel manicure. From previous salons I let him know right away my nails were very thin. He took his time never once caused any pain. My nails came out perfectly straight and no uneven polish. I’ll update it two weeks on how they hold up. Thanks Jacob

Terrible. Awful. Worst pedicure of my life. I was meant to get a gel manicure as well but after I saw what he did to my toes, I thought let me stop him before he completely ruins my nails. He was rude and didn't give a crap about what he was doing and was coughing all over the place!!! This place is gross and unhygienic and they don't care you - they just want your money. Please do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else, unless you want your nails to look like a 3 year old painted them, then this is the place for you.

Jacob has awful customer service!
Arrived for my appointment that I scheduled on time, Jacob state that another client was late for her appointment and he was behind. I asked if another tech could do my nails. Jacob walked to speak to another nail tech and went back to his other client without ever communicating to me.
I got my toes done while waiting and he didn't tell me he would cancel with me until an hour later which at that late in the evening all other salons were closed.
I asked for another nail tech to do my nails and waited 25 minutes up front before being told no one else could do

I usually do not take the time to review however I felt compelled to after my visit today. It does not matter if you have an appointment or not the techs are always late, sometimes even opening the store.The staff has gotten younger and rude and there multiple people not licensed or certified so you have to wait even longer if you don’t have a appointment. If you want to spend half of your day in a nail salon, pay $120+ for bad service and nails that come off within days. This is the spot! They have another location off 6 mile , different owners and better prices and service. I recommend going

I've been here probably 20 times and all with positive experiences. However today was the total opposite. Vivi was my nail tech and she was disrespectful to both my sister and I who were both getting mani/pedi. I hope she was just having a bad day but I will definitely be sure to request a different technician next time!

I really enjoy my visits to The Nail Lounge Spa in Gateway... Lisa and Harry are my favorite for nails. They take the utmost care on my natural nails and are very patient while I decide what I want. Jessica has been a gem... She has helped me to relocate one of my favorite colors that I have been searching for since my first visit. I really enjoy the staff there!!!

Waste of time & money!
my mother and I went in for manicures & pedicures and were told it'd be a 5 min wait. 40 mins later they said they only had time for pedicures. our pedicures were rushed through, nail polish application was so nasty and thick on both our pedicures. they even tried to used a cheese grater on my feet (WHICH IS ILLEGAL IN FLORIDA!!) dirty pumice stone that had dirty wet skin from a previous pedicure. & i've been out for an hour already and my nail polish is still thick and gummy. never coming here again.

First time there, took my daughter for a mother daughter date and they seemed annoyed that they had to do her nails since she was so little, if I'm paying for it. Do it. The lady kept yelling at her and rolling her eyes at her. It's the next day and my nails are smudged, almost like I wore shoes right after and I didnt. They looked great last night and today they look terrible! Fastest pedi I have ever had and they look terrible. They must've used the cheapest nail polish ever for this to happen because I have never had this happen.

Whenever I go here I always leave happy! Every single person I've gotten my nails done by always takes very good care and takes their time! If you don't like the color or shape, they'll stop right away and fix it to how you want it! The workers are all very nice and the place is clean and has a relaxing environment! You can walk in knowing you will leave with a great set of nails! Both of these photos are dip! The red tips are OPI "thrill of Brazil"!

Not impressed with this salon at all.
First time I was in there. Went in for a fill and a polish change on my toes.
The girl that did my nails sat on the dirty floor to polish them. Really, you can't sit me in a spa chair and do it the right way? How sanitary!!! NOT!!
I have never seen that in the 30 some years I'm getting nails done. On top of that, the polish started chipping that day. I should have complained, but I was dealing with a death in our family and wasn't in the mood to deal with them. What a waste of money! Not worth it!
I know it's too late now, but a refund

I have been going to The Nail Lounge Spa since the new location opened up, thinking they might be better than their other location. But I am not happy with the pedicures at all. I will not go back. My toes are always chipping, even after the following day of the pedicure. I have been getting pedicures for over 20 years and have never had my toe nails chip.

I used to frequent this place, however after my last visit I don't think I'll come here again. My pedicure was awesome. I really like the fact for a basic ($25) pedicure, they use warm stones to massage your legs. I felt like was getting a more expensive pedicure. I absolutely loved it. Then I sat with a different lady to do nails, and she used the dip powder. This was my first time using the dip powder and I had questions that she couldn't answer. Plus I felt she didn't know what the hell she was doing. My nails came out bumpy. They weren't smooth. Then when I was done

This was literally a 3 days after getting it done
The first time the thumb cracked I'm like ok I might have did something and went and got it fixed
Now this is the second time and sane thing happened
I'm never going back again
They are so rude the lady kept cutting into my cuticle and not even saying sorry or anything just rude.
I was going there due to convenience but yeah not again.

Went for a pedi & gel mani. My nail tech didn't give me time to pic a color for my toes and barely spoke to me. My friend's nail tech left polish on her toes and she had to ask the tech to remove all of the old polish from her toes before putting the new, lighter color on! And after that her nail tech was extremely rude to her. When I moved over to the mani table, the tech cut my nails so short without asking me if I wanted them cut at all and didn't ask how I wanted them shaped. She then started to file my nails with the electric filer and cut me pretty bad on the first nail

Ricky did my nails, seemed like he was more concerned about getting more clients in then quality work.
I left with a fill that already chipped and not to.mention has little craters on all my nails.
The nail tech should of seen that his work was no up to par and fixed it while I was there.
Was a waste of fill since I had to go a week later and get another fill with quality work from somewhere else.
It's quick unfortunate since this is right across from my job and easy to go to on lunch breaks.
But will not be back nor am I recommending anyone

I went here for a gel manicure on a Wednesday afternoon. It was going fine until the nail tech ripped skin right off my right ring finger nail and made it bleed badly. It wouldn't stop bleeding after he finished doing all my other nails, so I said I'd come back tomorrow and he could fix it then. I'm not exaggerating when I say my nail bled for 3 more hours after I got home. It hurt a lot too.
