I was pretty disappointed on Saturday when I walked up to find a dark shop. Everything I found said the business was was open until 5pm. No hours listed on the door and the phone number went to a totally different number's voicemail. Please take some advice from another business owner, post your hours in your door, don't forward your shop phone if you're not going to answer the call, claim your business on Yelp if you're not going to have your own website so you can control what potential patrons are seeing and your can keep current hours that you're available. I have extremely fine hair that is thinning. I have a hard time finding a good stylist that creates a hairstyle that makes me happy. Luckily I found Elle at True salon.
The highlight and lowlights were strategically placed so my hair " appeared to have more volume"
I recommend Elle but will warn people of the sticker shock. This is more a $$$ salon.

I have been cut by Dottie once a couple years ago and I liked what she did back then, but this recent cut from her is so bad, so chopped, & so uneven that I had to go to my regular hair dresser in Miami to get it fixed. I didn't have the time to do it in Miami that's why I booked with Dottie again, but what a mistake! She didn't check my hair after cutting it and I felt rushed out of the salon. I got home and noticed the bad job and immediately made an appointment in Miami. I do not recommend you come here to get your hair cut.

True Salon is the best! I've had my hair (they have top notch stylists) and nails done there and I loved going there! Shelly did my nails for 6 years before we moved out of the area. I loved going to get my nails done and miss her a lot. She is not just a nail tech she is a good listener and a good friend! She is professional and is flexible with her scheduling. Really wanted to give this salon a great review because the atmosphere and people were both enjoyable plus I liked the owners taste in music; BUT! Unfortunately I spent $200 for a cut I never recieved. I asked for a color AND cut- specifically face framing layers, and bulk taken off the sides which tend toward the sphinx-esque. I begged the stylist to please! be mindful NOT to take too much length off. Instead I received a color and a "trim". And by trim i mean no layers, nothing at all taken off around the face, bangs, or sides; and god help me- 6!! Inches taken off the bottom. Cry.

I attended a recruitment social at this salon at which some complimentary services were offered. I tried the massage and was pleased with my 10 min massage. Since I was getting married in a week and a bit stressed out I decided to book a longer massage with Tyrone and then it occurred to me that I could just book my hair and makeup at the salon rather than risking trying another salon (we just moved to SWFL so was struggling to figure out who to choose for my wedding hair and makeup). Absolutely love this salon! The owner does a fantastic job with my color and cut and Shelly is the best nail specialist I've ever been to. She uses special care to sculpt nails to perfection without damaging or hurting cuticals. I have never experienced such a gentle nail set as this and the expertise in applying polish is exceptional!

Love this place. Lindsay does such a wonderful job on hair/color. Takes her time with you and always knows what's best.
Kristina the esthetician is also wonderful too. I usually get microdermabrasion with her and she does a great job and gives a wonderful upper body massage too.

Anastasia is amazing!! I love my new lashes. They look so natural! She went to great length to explain my choices and how to care for them. I was so impressed with her attention to detail. She made me feel comfortable right away and spent time talking to me about the look I wanted. Overall, I was impressed with the salon in general and am anxious to try the other services offered.
