Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, Alternative Care Dr Anthony Faro D C emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could.
Dr. Faro holds a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of New York at Albany. He completed his Masters of Science Degree in Sports Health/Exercise Physiology, and his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine graduating Summa Cum Laude from Life University in Atlanta. Dr. Faro has also completed studies in Naturopathic Medicine at the I. W. Lane College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando.
We understand that arriving at a doctor's office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you've never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Lake Wales chiropractic office for the first time. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.

Dr. Faro is the best chiropractor I've ever visited. He truly knows his craft, his Nurse, Debbie is fantastic and his family is friendly. I was hesitant about chiropractors in general, but I've never felt better since visiting Dr. Faro. I'm very grateful that we have such a competent chiropractor in downtown Lake Wales.

After my third pregnancy, my lower back and hips have been in constant aching pain. Finally, I decided to see a Chiropractor and was glad that I picked Dr. Faro. The staff was very patient when I was having to take time to deal with my three month old. And Dr. Faro did a fantastic job diagnosing the issue that I was having and adjusting my hips and back. I can't wait for my next adjustments. And I definitely will be using Dr. Faro as my General Practitioner because I prefer solving the root of the problem instead of taking medicine made by a pharmaceutical company to mask the problem.

Dr. Faro and and the Alternative Care team are fantastic. My husband and I have been going to his office for nearly three years for various treatments from acupuncture, massage, adjustments and vitamins. I have only the highest of praise for Dr. Faro and the whole staff at Alternative Care. Dr. Faro has treated me holistically and helped me find relief for many digestive issues I have struggled with for over 10 years. He looked at my diet, exercise, family and personal health histories and set a plan in place that has been life changing to say the least. We made some pretty major adjustments to what I do and do not eat, as well as adding in supplements. I feel better than I have in over a decade, have lost 16 pounds and have been free of any stomach pain and discomfort for nearly 6 months now.

I have had nothing but excellent results from my treatment with Dr. Faro. He is more than a chiropractor. Dr Faro evaluates your activities, diet, family history, and overall physical health. I use his supplements daily and have followed his dietary recommendations at times when I have felt sluggish and run down. The results were excellent, and when I find myself feeling lethargic, I alter my diet, eat healthier, and always always feel better.

I have been a patient of Dr. Faro for over 14yrs. Alternative Cares staff is very professional and cares about there patients. The friendly atmosphere is great. Dr. Faro takes the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of his profession to ensure that I completely understand step by step of what has to be done. He has kept me from having to have back surgery. He overall is the best at what he does! I use his supplements daily and they work better than any over the counter drug that you would buy at a drug store.
