Does not have a good rating, the organization is in the 18 century when it come to taxes, the taxpreparers are old &forgetful have cost me
To pay thousands if dollars by not preparing the correct tax laws J Arthur him self talks a good game, but does not follow up calls to his clients

Great service! I've been coming here for about 3 years for assistance with filing my income taxes. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My entire tax preparation takes about an hour to an hour and a half. It's an easy location to find. It's directly across the street from a car dealership. Parking is easily accessible. I definitely recommend coming in for any accounting needs!

I hate to write bad reviews but unfortunately getting my taxes done here was a disappointment! I went in with a pretty simple tax return, as a single person filing. I was charged $175 for that which I thought seemed high, but I was just happy to have my taxes done. I asked many times why I would end up owing state taxes when I only lived in Maryland for 6 months. No clear answer was given. I have now had my taxes re-done by another company, which means I have paid more money. It turns out that my taxes were done completely wrong by J Arthur Brown & Assoc! I will now be getting $$$$ back instead
