I am very resistant to giving poor reviews to small businesses as I would like to think of myself to be the type of person who does not make snap judgements and instead gives the benefit of the doubt. This being said, I have thought about my experience with Twister Towing Service for almost exactly one year and still feel the overwhelming need to write this review...
My family and I encountered Twister Towing in November 2020 when my 19-year-old baby brother was in a car accident while driving through OKC after visiting his girlfriend for the Thanksgiving holiday. I received a call from a chaplain

Received a letter that a vehicle stolen from me was in their impound. When I called the man was rude, gruff and hostile. All I wanted was information. No argument from me about the fees or any money. I understand that they probably get tons of calls from people who are rude but how about a little compassion and understanding for those of us who have already been victimized. Your customer service skills need improvement.

Unfriendly, hostile guy apparently thought I was trying to retrieve my (stolen & recovered) vehicle without paying and lectured me about where I should & shouldn’t drive, in spite of having no clearly marked business identifier & conflicting names (are you “Twister” or are you “Superior Rescue”?). Even after apologizing and explaining why I was confused, I was treated rudely and my vehicle was moved to pretty much the least accessible spot possible in the near-empty lot for my own tow truck to retrieve. More details available on Yelp - not repeating here but definitely a worthwhile read

For starters, it would help if the business decided what it's name is. My stolen car was impounded at a place identifying itself as "Superior Rescue" when I called for retrieval instructions. Since no address was provided, I searched on maps and was led to a building with a large "Twister" sign out front and nothing immediately identifying it as the place I was seeking. I drove through what I thought was an alley to their office but turned out to be the entrance to their sacred auto graveyard or whatever. That's where the real drama begins.

I tried to get my vehicle out of impound from these people Within the first 24 hours my vehicle was impounded and the dispatchers could not help me told me no one could be there to help me until Monday which my vehicle was towed on a Friday and by Monday they wanted to charge me $500 and something dollars to get my vehicle out of impound when I was trying to get it out all weekend and would have gladly paid the $45 after hours fee which the dispatchers didn't even know about apparently and then I was told that it was that high because they were required after 24 hours to file necessary paperwork

Brad is professional, responsive, and timely. He showed up when he said he would and kept open communication throughout the whole process. He really helped our family to salvage a road trip that quickly turned sour after our vehicle broke down in Texas. He went 4 hours out of his way to help us out. I highly recommend him and his company.
