The room was fine. Except the water pressure in the shower was very low. The rasinbran was hard as a Rock and the front desk person didn't care. I used booking.com to get rooms and when I checked in I was told a price of $94 a night for 5 nights. They charged me a tourist tax of $16 a night so the room was $111 a night. Also I bought two sweat shirts for $80 and they ran my card twice. I showed them on my phone they took the money twice and they refused to refund the money or even tell me who owned the place so I could talk to them. I will never go back.

A young man named Steve provided the best customer service I've ever experienced at a hotel. He gave us pinpoint directions for getting to certain trails and which ones to avoid. I watched them dig out a few cars to get them in and out of the parking lot as the night we stayed they got a ton of snow. We will be coming back next weekend!

This was my first time ever visiting the UP of Michigan, and I found myself staying at this little quaint place with its own charm. Something a Chicago fella like me isn't used to, but I enjoyed my stay! The staff was truly amazing, and brought even more life to this place! I know where I'll be staying my next time out here for sure. Hopefully that pool will be open the next time I'm out here

Comfy beds, cute decor, breakfast, coin laundry. Pool under construction. Also-the nicest staff. When our AC failed they “made it right” more than I ever expected. That kind of service is the old fashioned way that you just don’t get anymore. I’d go back for sure. I also watched people come in and thank them profusely for something they had done for them. These seem like good people....

In the heart of Newberry, you can find clean, comfortable lodging and gracious staff here at the Pleasant Moose Lodge. Every member of the staff is pleasant, as the name suggests. They are all very accommodating no matter what the hour is.
It's obvious renovations have taken place and are ongoing; currently finishing the pool and spa which I am told should be open spring of 2020. Very affordable and reasonable given the amenities. Always some snacks to munch on in the hospitality/great room; includes continental breakfast in the morning.
There is plenty of room to park your large snowmobile
