Cornelia Pharmacy is one of the oldest pharmacies in Cornelia, Georgia. It was established in 1930 by the Cunningham Family. It's history and nostalgia makes it very charming. We are located downtown at the railroad tracks, very near to The Big Red Apple Monument, on the corner adjacent to The Big Red Apple.

The pharmacy retains that old hometown look, both inside and outside. You can come have a prescription filled, or simply pick up a bottle of aspirin, Ormason vitamins, or a rib belt. We are fully computerized and accept a wide range of both insurance and Medicare Part D cards. Jim Colston has owned and operated the pharmacy since 1990.

An estimated 50 percent or more of medications for chronic conditions, such as high cholesterol and diabetes, are not taken as prescribed. Medication non-adherence can lead to worsening health conditions, hospitalizations and death. Whatever the reason is for medication non-adherence, we have a solution for you.
Medication therapy management, otherwise known as MTM, is a term used for a program to help you manage your medications and health conditions. Do you want to know how best to take your medications to get the most from your medications?. Would you like to have a complete list of the medications you take for your personal use?.
Do you ever find it difficult to keep up with your medication refills and picking up your medications? If you answered yes, you may benefit from medication synchronization. Med Synchronization, also called med sync, is a program we offer here at the pharmacy to help synchronize your medication refills so that you will be able to pick up ALL of your medications on a single day each month.

I first learned about this location from a free clinic and finally went recently. Turns out, I saved more than half of what I had spent on prescriptions at a certain big name store! Although they only take cash payments, that more than makes up for what I have spent previously!
As for the staff, they are very kind, courteous, efficient and patient when supplying customers with what they need! I was even given my medicine when I didn't have cash on me (small amount)! I am definitely coming back here in the future!
