They have so much on their menu to choose from. We decided to go with lunch specials that range around $12 they come with soup or salad, and some of them come with two sides along with the main meal plus dessert. All of Us ended up taking home leftovers. It wasn't service with a smile but the service was good.
My only complaint were the complimentary roles were kind of tough, they didn't feel fresh.

Stopped in here for a late Breakfast.
I ordered Sausage Gravy over biscuits with homefries. Portions were huge. My food was served barely warm and it was so, sooo bland. Literally, no flavour. Looking at my sausage gravy, I didn't see any sausage - suspect it might have been chipped beef instead - but I couldn't tell you because it had no taste and the tiny specs of mystery meat had no texture. Homefries were cooked spot on, but again - no flavour. I've never had to salt & pepper a meal so much!
Ordered coffee, asked for a refill before our meal arrived. I got that refill

This time we came by for dinner (we now have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner ). Ordered the Cheeseburger with Swiss cheese which was on a toasted brioche bun and came with coleslaw and French fries. The burger was actually delicious and not dry. The French fries were better than some other diners and were not greasy. Price was $10.99 for a decent amount of food.
We also ordered the Kansas Cut Rib Eye with a side of Mac'n cheese and steamed broccoli (made with garlic & olive oil). Steak was cooked medium as requested and was tender. The onion rings, despite looking good, were

I really enjoyed stopping by the Park Place Diner while on a business trip in the area. The menu offers a wide variety of selections, and I settled for Tony's Special Breakfast which is available all day. The portions were very large, the service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable.

Stopped in for lunch while passing through the area. This is my only visit and I'd say it was solid. Ordered the Greek Salad. Ample size does not describe how big this Salad is! Romaine with anchovies, kalamata olives, cubes of feta, red onion, grape leaves and a ring of pita make the dish. A cup of soup, in this case lentil, came with the lunch offering was really delicious.
Otherwise pretty typical, lots of booths, post Covid crowded, and friendly service.

Looks like a nice diner. Above average decor and what not. Food and service was below average. Speedy service, but our waitress didn't know what comes with entrees and messed up the salad next to me.
Food was bland. Mashed potatoes were cold and lunch lady like.
Highlight was the coleslaw. Which was out of a tub for sure.

Not a fan. I gave this diner a try twice and each time I left unhappy. The first time I ordered an omelette with home fries and toast and it all tasted mediocre at best. Pretty flavorless all around. The second time I had a salad and it was literally ALL tomatoes, a few pieces of lettuce and some completely over cooked tasteless chicken. Such a disappointment. Probably won't be back.

While traveling through PA, I decided to stop at the Park Place Diner in Denver, PA.
It's right off the Pa Turnpike if you're driving through. I was looking for something easy and right off the road.
Atmosphere:
The Park Place Diner is everything you picture in a diner.
The inside has rows of booths, tables, as well as a full-length bar. You walk by the dessert case, and it was enough to have me committed.
Coffee:
The waitress brewed a fresh pot of coffee. The coffee mug was a logo mug, and the coffee was just plain good, if not one of the best I've recently.

Great food and even better service! We were staying down the road at the comfort inn and were looking for a nice place with good food. This place totally hit both targets!
We had the Banana pancakes (5 stars according to my daughter), the Grecian (which is a neat way of eating a gyro ), and the Turkey burger with fried onion (yum). All dinners came with a cup of soup of the day which was perfect!
This place has extensive menu and everything from breakfast all day to dinner and dessert.
Our waitress was awesome! She was very attentive and sweet.
If you are in the area, you should totally try this
