Dr. Kieffer believes that psychotherapy is a collaborative process that is tailored to fit YOUR needs. The process of change and development occurs in the context of an empathic therapeutic alliance. She believes that effective treatment involves a process in which patient and doctor work together both to understand current problematic patterns and to facilitate new ways of being and relating.
