Our goal at The Red Apple Child Care Center & Preschool is to provide each child with a safe and stimulating environment where they can be free to explore and learn through a variety of teacher and child initiated experiences. We have been in business since 1997 and are locally owned and operated in the Quad Cities.

Services
Our infant program curriculum is designed to help them learn and grow in a developmentally appropriate manner. Our nurturing, caring and loving staff helps guide our infants through daily activities that include physical, cognitive and social emotional development. Daily activities include tummy time, crawling, and discovering age appropriate toys.
Our small friends begin to walk and explore the world and we are right there beside them. This room is equipped with developmentally appropriate hard and soft toys for small motor development. Language development is an ongoing focus in the infant classrooms as we communicate and converse with the children throughout the day.
At the age of discovery our Infant C teachers prepare hands-on learning activities, accompanied with the our developmentally challenging curriculum. This helps advancement with your infant's social, physical, emotional and intellectual growth. Numbers, letters, colors, and shapes, are introduced during Circle Time.
Circle Time is a significant part of a child's day.even in a classroom full of toddlers! Many people are under the impression that toddlers cannot sit still. Although toddler's have a limited attention span, over time by having a daily circle time it will actually help improve it.
Toddlers learn from songs, dances, and activities that we incorporate into circle time, while focusing on building skills they have already learned in their previous classrooms.Children learn best when they are having fun, so we ensure our teaching techniques are entertaining. We do this by keeping Circle Time upbeat, maintaining a routine and using repetition.

The Red Apple toddler program provides an engaging, safe space for children to explore their world. Our experienced, patient caregivers provide hands on activities that encourage curiosity and promote the independence that toddlers desire. Teachers introduce early math, literacy, science, sensory, art and music activities each week through fun, hands-on learning experiences.

We have had a wonderful experience with our three young children attending The Red Apple. They have received excellent preschool and Pre-K preparation. They regularly come home having worked on number and letter identification and writing. They love to go to school. The school is always clean. The play area is well maintained. The kids have good relationships with their teachers. We were fortunate to qualify to have all of our children attend. We would recommend this preschool over other options in the area that we have used.

As new parents we agonized & debated over hiring private in-home care vs a daycare, since both of us had our own unpleasant daycare memories. Yet everyone we talked to raved about The Red Apple! We were given the heads up of the waitlist, and were lucky enough an infant spot had opened up in time for our daughter. (Yes, there can be a waitlist; but for good reason & no surprise, this place is AMAZING!) After we started bringing her, it was clear we had made the right decision.

We love The Red Apple!! After being on a wait list for almost 18 months we finally got a call that there was room for both of our kids about 3 months ago. What a HUGE difference this has made for both of them! They love going to daycare. I hate to say that this has not always been the case. The teachers are amazing and they always come home with so many fun stories! I can’t imagine going anywhere else!!

I was so excited to hear from a work colleague. They got a call from the Red Apple 🍎 that there was room for the son and 8 month old daughter. They have been on a wait list for over a year. I told them to get on the list ASAP because EVERYONE is trying to enroll their kids in the Red Apple 🍎. They have the BEST reputation in town. I highly recommend if your thinking of a day care provider for when find out your expecting your bundle of joy. Call the Red Apple 🍎 to get on the list. They are the BEST 🍎

Both of my girls had a top notch experience at red apple. Professional, clean, and loving. The teachers care for the kids like they are family. Kids who go through their first few years at Red Apple are well rounded, educated, active, and happy kids. Yes there is often a waitlist but that’s because they are so good. Worth the wait.

My son went to The Red Apple years ago. I am still close with the owners who continue to run a very professional, caring, inclusive daycare. They have a long waitlist, because they run an excellent daycare that parents want their children to attend.

The staff at the Red Apple are wonderful. They treat my babies as if they were their own. I feel completely comfortable and confident that my children will be well cared for every morning when I drop them off. My two-year-old looks forward to going to daycare every day and loves seeing her friends and teachers. She excels and my husband and I give credit to Red Apple for that. I can’t imagine sending my children anywhere else 💕
