Kinderfarm Is a developmentally appropriate early childhood learning center in Iowa City, Iowa, for 3, 4, 5, and 6 year old children. Services
The more a child sees or hears, the more he/she wants to see and hear. The greater the variety of things he/she experiences, the greater his/her capacity for experiencing. Thus, both curiosity and rate of intellectual development are tied to a variety of situations that encourage the child to modify and extend previous patterns of thought.
We encourage parental participation at Kinderfarm. We view your child's early education as a "team effort" - child, parents, and Kinderfarm. The Kinderfarm curriculum and program have been developed and refined since 1973 by professional early childhood educators.
Our dedication and devotion to the academic and developmental needs of your "Kinderfarmer" is and will remain, foremost in our every effort to provide our community with the premier developmentally appropriate early childhood program.Parents must complete, sign, and return a registration sheet and a non-refundable deposit of $125 ($50 registration fee and $75 tuition deposit to hold a space) for each child they wish to enroll.

I hope you're having a great school-year so far! Danny has been doing absolutely wonderful in kindergarten, and there is no doubt a lot of that has to do with you and the wonderful Kinderfarm staff. If it hadn't been for you guys, I have no doubt he would've been crying everyday for awhile at kindergarten, but as it was, he's been happy to go everyday.
Kinderfarm encourages children of all backgrounds to attend. Kinderfarm does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, color, creed, disability, national origin, or ethnic background. Tours are available to anyone interested in learning more about what Kinderfarm has to offer. Tours generally last about 20 to 30 minutes depending on questions parents might have about our program.

We have been sending our son to the Kinderfarm after school program since it started and couldn’t be happier! The van picks him up at school and drops him off at Kinderfarm. He gets lots of outside time playing and helping with chores. I highly recommend the Kinderfarm after school program, it’s a fantastic place with fantastic people!!!

Kinderfarm is the best preschool I could have asked for my daughter!!!! The teachers are kind and loving but structured to create the right balance for toddlers. My daughter loves doing chores and being helpful with the animals. She has grown significantly in her early educational development since being there. They have nourished her love of books and art. I couldn’t be happier!!!!

We have loved every minute of our daughter’s experience at Kinderfarm! She has transformed from a quiet, cautious little girl, to hanging upside down on the bars, and being front and center for all of the experiences and adventures they get to have! Can’t wait for our second little girl to be old enough to start there as well! I recommend Kinderfarm to everyone I know with preschool aged kiddos!!

Our daughter has attended Kinderfarm for the past 1.5 years and we have been so happy with her experience. It has been the perfect balance of classroom learning and amazing hands on outdoor time. She has grown so much developmentally wise since beginning there and absolutely loves it. She has never had a day of not running out the door for school! I always recommend Kinderfarm to anyone who is looking at preschool options in the Corridor area!
