I am a wedding and dog photographer serving the DC area, but am always ready to travel! I now call Northern Virginia my home, but I grew up in Rochester, NY. I love making the trip back to my hometown, and am definitely up for adventures in new places. I live with my husband Neal and our pup Rui. Neal says that our dog takes after me - we are both super excited about meeting new people, and want to be everyone's friend.

Megan is a phenomenal wedding photographer and arguably one of the best in the DC metro area! My husband and I initially hired Megan for our engagement shoot in January 2020 at Shenandoah Park. She was a tremendous help guiding us through the process, both in location and in the poses themselves. We ended the experience in great spirits and with even greater pictures. In fact, we clicked so much with Megan that we hired her to photograph our actual wedding in New Hampshire, which took place December 2021.

I recommend Megan! She did our Engagement photos (our wedding photographer wasn't able to do them) and she was amazing! I found her posts on Pinterest and liked her style. When we spoke on the phone, I felt incredibly comfortable and we scheduled that day. We got our full gallery in less than two weeks and I absolutely love them!! Not only did she take great pictures of my fiancé and I, but she gave me the best photo I've seen of our dog! Hire her, and don't forget the pup!

Megan was amazing! I got to work with her on planning this surprise proposal in Shenandoah. We had plenty of discussion in advance of the event where she provided recommendations, advice, and prepared contingencies for the day of the proposal. We had to make late changes due to weather forecasts, and she adjusted seamlessly. She also played the part of "random photographer at an overlook" perfectly, so the proposal was truly a surprise up until I took out the ring. Megan was a phenomenal photographer!! Prior to our wedding she made sure to respond to any emails I sent her and she even helped to make the timeline for my day of things! (I never knew you had to schedule photos/moving time into them) Megan is very knowledgeable about photographs and is thorough with the timeline and making sure to get all the pictures that you want.

Megan does beautiful work! She photographed my engagement and I love the photos so much! She really captured the magic of the moment with fantastic candid shots and a gorgeous series of posed photos. She was kind and helpful with helping us get the right shots and was so sneaky hiding I didn't even know the proposal itself was being photographed. She was kind enough to send us a beautiful sneak peek the very next day (I have no idea how she got it done so fast yet the work was such high quality) which gave us photos to share as we announced our big news.
