With everyone being able to take photos with their phones these days, I found that they are never the quality I want for large family photos.
Lillis Werder has a gift for capturing the moment and the personalities of the people being photographed. Especially for families with children and pets. Her photos are perfectly focused and the lighting and backgrounds compliment the people but do not detract from them. Many years of experience and an eye for the final results made her our best choice for a rare sibling photo.
Lillis is easy to work with and it's a non stressful, relaxed experience

I had an absolutely incredible time with Lillis. My family is not the easiest bunch of people to manage, and she did an incredible job getting great photos out of us! Lillis was completely flexible, relaxed, and helpful through the whole process. She walked us through some poses, picked out the best places for the backgrounds, and was an all-around pleasure to work with.

To be honest, I was not interested in taking pictures in celebration of graduating from my Master's program. My mom had already set up a session with Ms. Lillis and as a good only child, I obliged.
All I can say is I'm SO glad my mom found Ms. Lillis. My boyfriend and I met her in Old Town Manassas, but she was willing to meet anywhere. She was so friendly and welcoming. She even brought a couple props like a mock diploma for me to hold! Her son was also there to help with equipment and tell jokes to make me laugh!

Stunning, stunning photographs. She can take a photograph of something you've seen a thousand times before - a landmark like the Eiffel Tower, NYC traffic, Carnevale in Venice - and make it seem fresh and exciting and like something you've never seen before. I own several of her pieces and proudly display them in both of my homes. If you are selling your home and need photographs, she will make your home look like a castle! I highly, highly recommend her work!
