Services
Dr. Friedman brings his experience to patients of all ages, ensuring the best treatment for all patients. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children have their first orthodontic examination around age 7-8. Although treatment typically doesn't begin immediately, it allows the opportunity for a free evaluation to decide if early treatment is necessary.
All orthodontists must be licensed to practice, but at this time only 1 in 3 orthodontists have continued on to complete Board Certification. The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
Dr. Friedman is a Diamond Plus Invisalign provider, having completed the most advanced continuing education courses in Invisalign including a year-long Invisalign Orthodontic Master Program Course taught by leading providers across the country. He will also be educating other doctors in the metro-Detroit area through an Invisalign curriculum at his alma mater, teaching this advanced technique to residents at the University of Detroit Mercy.

We will help you verify benefits, process claims, and help you maximize your orthodontic coverage to minimize your out-of-pocket cost.
In addition, we have convenient hours to fit all schedules, including evenings and Saturdays! I love a good challenge, whether it's improving my chess game, learning how to make sushi or figuring out the best solution for each of my orthodontic patients. Every case is a puzzle requiring abstract thinking.

Dr. Friedman my God amazing. I had jaw pain and I used to get injections for my jaw pain constantly, then I saw Dr. Friedman and he recommended invisalign because my bite was screwed up. What a life saver. No more jaw pain and expensive injections for me. My teeth look amazing and most importantly no more pain. Thank you again Dr. Friedman.

I rarely leave reviews but after being pleasantly surprised more than twice I had to. I have been so impressed since I first started my braces journey in Nov 2020. The staff is awesome and in a good mood every time I come in. When speaking with Dr. Friedman it was so reassuring to be told the truth and have the process and expectations explained to me. Its a plus that its so easy to get in contact with the office by phone or text! I would definitely refer this place to anyone.

I started with my braces in south Florida and then moved to Michigan. I continued to go back to Miami for continuous care but decided to look for a local orthodontist. Met Dr. Friedman at Motor City Smiles and started working with him immediately. The level of care and attention to detail is phenomenal.
