My son is transforming into an amazing child that has had a rough time controlling many things that may come easy to others. He was not able to follow commands as well as his peers and the struggle was heartbreaking on me as a single mom. I knew I had to put something special into his life to help him succeed! I was careful with my choice. Jeff Ellis had a meeting with us to see if Gianni was a good fit. Nervous as I was I hoped he would see the positive I saw as a mom with proper direction. Now I have a child that is becoming a leader and Jeff Ellis is continuing this promotion within my child

MY son recently attended classes at Jeff Ellis' International Karate Center. Our experience there has led me to leave this review. Jeff Ellis was very persuasive in the way he represented his teaching abilities and made you feel as though he was the best around. This man is a con artist and a very good one at that! His soft and quiet demeanor will really throw you off. First off I had to put a large deposit down to get started. Then we set up automatic payments for every month of $140! After being in the classes for a few months I realized this place was not at all what it was represented to be

One year ago I met Shihan Jeff Ellis when looking to get my son in Karate after he was assaulted by another student on the school bus. I didn’t know what to expect when I met him and Eddy first started. But Jeff took all that worry away from the beginning as I was very impressed with his presentation of what he and the IKC was all about. He listened and took understanding as to our situation and even gave us a book that he wrote all about bullying as in today’s times this is a real problem. I surprised and pleased to hear not only would he learn how to defend himself but also learn important

Our experience with IKC Strongsville has been one rewarding and completely impactful in our lives. We came because of a try out offer won during a raffle. The try out quickly transitioned to our membership and advancement throughout the last year and half.
For my son, we started as an opportunity to have him in some physical activity as he had grown tired of his soccer participation. It quickly became more than that as the true value for him was in his continuous emotional and leadership growth that Karate and the world of martial art brings. I went to watch a karate class, thinking about joining. The instructor, Jeff Ellis was teaching a group of youngsters. He has a real way with kids, and I was impressed with how he talked to them. The kids really listened to what the instructor was teaching them. I talked to Mr. Ellis after the class, and he told me that many of the students have ADHD. I asked what the benefits of karate lessons were for children, and he told me that the main benefits were increase self esteem, focus, and self discipline. I believe it.
