This School teaches much more than the disciplines of martial arts, it is a profound and transforming experience for the young to acquire life skills that makes them exceptional in other areas, such as school and sports. It also stresses the respect of elders that makes a child more in tune with how to succeed in life. My sons have been enrolled in Mr. Dee's Karate Academy since May 2019. We have learned so much as a family! My sons are not only learning martial arts, but also how to have more confidence and how to be better learners. As a mother , I have learned how not to argue with my kids and how to mean what I say . This has made homeschooling them ( due to the pandemic) go smoothly and without frustration. I highly value and recommend Mr. Dee's Karate Academy .

I’ve had two girls, ages 6 and 8 in Mr Dee’s Academy for roughly two months now and I can say with a certainty, that they absolutely love it! Their confidence has grown exponentially in a noticeable way in a relatively short amount of time. They look forward to every lesson! Not to say anything comes easy here. If your child isn’t afraid of working hard, and is capable of listening, the sky is the limit here!

By far the best karate school in the area. Mr. Dee's school is not for everyone. If you want your child to learn respect, discipline, improve their school grades AND learn effective self-defense techniques, then this school is for you. If all you want is to be promoted to higher and higher belts in the shortest possible timeframe, then Mr. Dee's will NOT be a good fit for you or your child. Mr. Dee is very serious about the "martial" aspect of martial arts and is a VERY strict disciplinarian (which I love). Your child will work hard for their rank and will take great pride in progressing at this

Mr Dee is wonderful and so is the staff. I don’t know how he does it. He transforms these kids pretty fast. Personally I like that this is a personal experience for my son and personal growth. Usually in soccer, basketball, or football only one child can be the star. I don’t think that gives much motivation for the rest of the kids. At Mr Dees every child is a star. They all have special days. They are taught to never give up. They have a big goal at the end of it all. To become a black belt.

Hands down one of the best Martial Arts programs around. Mr. Dee is no nonsense and an old school instructor, he teaches his students the respect that many children have lost these days. On the other end of the spectrum he teaches children how to stand up for themselves against bullies. He cares about each one of his students and pushes them to be… their best. My nephew has been one of his students for about 3 months and he's taught him so much already! Thank you Mr. Dee for being such a great inspiration, a caring guy and guiding your students in the right direction.

Absolutely wonderful karate school, Mr. Dee is a fantastic teacher and just an all around great person, I have seen him work miracles on children with a tough time focusing, following direction and just listening in general. Highly recommend this school, my daughter will definitely be attending for plenty of years to come.
