Dr. Wonsavage decided to become part of the Lyme Road Dental team to become more actively engaged in the health of his patients. Personally, he really enjoys the blend of small-town life, intellectual engagement, and spectacular outdoor opportunities that the Hanover area offers. His commitment to his patients starts with continuing education to ensure he serves everyone with the latest techniques and services.
I was born and raised in the Upper Valley and love living in this wonderful community. I've been married for 31 years to my amazing husband, Richard, and we have three incredible sons, Trevor, Patrick and Alex, and most recently a pretty special daughter-in-law, Liz. Why did you choose dentistry? I was having my teeth cleaned, and my childhood dentist was in a bind, offered me a position, and trained me on the job.
Dr. Melkers and his family made the decision to move from their former state to New Hampshire because they love New England. While being highly trained in preventive and family dentistry treatments, Dr. Melker's extensive education, and years of experience really shine in his cosmetic dentistry treatments.

I went for my first visit to Lyme Road Dental after it was recommended by a friend and I could not have been more pleased. Every member of the staff I dealt with was friendly, professional, and helpful. The office is spotless and very well equipped. Dr. Melkers was great. He made me feel very comfortable and completed the most comprehensive dental exam I have experienced with the very capable aid of his assistant. If you are looking for a dentist I could certainly recommend Lyme Road Dental.

Immaculate attention to detail with clearly explained protocols before and during the appointment. Impressive use of new technologies for air quality and full use of PPE make it evident that the protection of staff and patients is of foremost concern. The total experience was nonetheless extremely “normal” and reassuring, with the quality of care being the same as my family and I have enjoyed at this practice for many years. Sincere thanks to the doctors and all the staff for all they have done and continue to do in these extraordinary times.

This has been a dental emergency month for me. I had to have an emergent extraction . Despite a full schedule, they fit me in very promptly, did not make me feel rushed. To top all that off Dr. Mike explained the whole procedure to me, allayed all my fears and extracted my tooth painlessly! As I was leaving the office, he gave me his personal cell phone number to call if I should run into any problems on account of the extraction overnight. Wow, I feel so fortunate to have found this practice!
