We accept major medical insurance such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, PHCS, Cigna, Aetna and Medicare for medical eye exams and office visits, as well as VSP, Superior Vision, Eyemed, and Cigna PPO for routine wellness exams. Was referred to Dr. Moon after some dodgy eye diagnosis and treatment plan elsewhere. My visit to Lakeside Vision and Optical could not have gone better. The lady who helped me at the front desk was cheerful, friendly and professional. Whitney, who initially looked after me was super nice. She listened, asked good questions, took notes and expertly handled all the hi tech examinations. Dr. Moon herself was incredibly kind, thoughtful, insightful and honest. She was able to quickly reassure me about my eyes' condition. Given there were no prevailing problems to treat, she made time for my overdue

After a detailed discussion of how I would use my glasses (for computer use) and how my focal length would need to be around 23-27 inches because of that the dr. made a big deal of writing 'computer' on the RX. Well I had the glasses made and the focal length was 14" -going back in I was told by the sales ladies that this was normal but that the dr. could easily fix my rx with 'math' and all would be well so he 'math'ed it up and I was on my way-had new glasses made and lo and behold ...same issue. I went back in and was condescended to about why this was the case and was told they DIDN'T HAVE

My appointment is still pending, but i wanted to hop on here and give a review to the lady who answers the phone. She is super motherly and really knows what she is doing. After calling over 5 clinics, not one of those other clinics were as warm hearted and compassionate sounding as she was. Her customer service exceeded there and my expectations. When I told her I had my 2 boys she quickly recommended a Saturday slot. This gave me the option to leave my boys with dad. I had a great experience this morning! The staff is very kind and professional. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed. They also gave me options to consider about my glasses. Dr. Mike Phillips is awesome. He is caring and explained things carefully to make certain I understood. Certainly he is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated.

Dr. Moon and Mrs. Rosa (optical) were PHENOMENAL!! The office was beautiful and immaculate. Mrs. Rosa helped me choose my glasses and she actually 'helped!'. She told me what looked good and what didn't with the sweetest honesty. I LOVE my new glasses. Dr. Moon took time to speak with me about all my questions and concerns and explained everything very well. I will totally be recommending this office to anyone looking.

For close to 10 years, I have had the pleasure of being a patient of this practice. I had a tremendous experience at this office. Dr. Moon and her entire staff were pleasant and professional. The visit was smooth and comprehensive. I was impressed by the fantastic facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.
