The practice of using fillings to repair decayed teeth is nothing new. Fortunately, as methods and technology have improved, the process has become more efficient and comfortable over time. Using fillings to treat tooth decay is important to improve and maintain your overall dental health. Instead of utilizing metal for fillings (called amalgams, which are an alloy of mercury with other metal(s)), Dr. Molenda uses durable tooth-colored fillings.
Cosmetic dental bonding can improve & enhance the appearance of your teeth and smile in a number of ways. For instance, if you have gaps or space between your teeth, dental bonding can help close these gaps; this helps prevent food from getting trapped between teeth and makes brushing and flossing easier, which helps prevent bacteria build-ups.
Sealant is used to fill in and protect narrow grooves in teeth that are difficult to clean with brushing. Sometimes teeth have very fine grooves or pits that can acquire plaque over time, and brushing can't always adequately clean these hard-to-reach areas, through no fault of your own. Both Dr. Molenda and his staff are excellent. They are kind and helpful every time I encounter them.
The office gets a big bonus because of the views. Each chair sits facing a huge picture window with a view of beautiful trees and bird feeders stocked by the staff. On a recent visit I saw at least 6 cardinals. If you see a bird you can’t identify, ask your hygienist or Dr. Molenda! They’ll probably know. Who knew it could be such a delight to go to the dentist?

Our family have been in Dr. Molenda's very capable hands for 15 years. His office staff members are easy to work with and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Molenda uses the "less is more" approach when making decisions regarding treatment. There is no pressure to explore expensive procedures. I especially love the floor to ceiling windows looking out on bird feeders. It is very calming to watch the birds.

Dr. Molenda has been our dentist for 10+ years! He takes adequate time in detail and thoroughness of dental care/cleaning. He and his staff have alway worked very hard to accommodate our family now living 3+ hours away to come in for cleanings! Dentists like Dr. Molenda are a rare find in high quality dental care without making you take a personal loan every time you see him...hence the 3+ hour trip back to Central Texas. We are VERY grateful for this resource!!!
