Matt Jolivette is one of two owners of Associated Mortgage Brokers and brings his clients 21 years of experience as a mortgage broker. Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Portland State University, studying and attending classes nights while working full time at Associated Mortgage Brokers, graduating in 2005.

I actually found Matt by googling “Best Mortgage Broker in Oregon”. He had over 20 - Five Star reviews. Matt was very responsive and communicative. Being able to schedule a call on his website actually worked out wonderfully. I love the ease of being able to upload all necessary documents through a secure web portal and being kept apprised of exactly where we were throughout the entire process. Matt was so friendly that it was almost like we’d known him for years. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I wanted to refinance my house, if it was worth the costs associated with the procedure, to lower my monthly payment. Matt was straight up with me that it would take a little under 3 years to recoup those costs so it was only worth it if I planned on staying in my house that long. I decided to go ahead with the refinance since Matt told me it would lower my monthly payment by over $120 a month and I could get $5,000 cash back out to use however I wanted to.
