Landstar is a non-asset based transportation services company, providing transportation capacity and related transportation services to shippers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. These business services emphasize safety, information coordination and customer service and are delivered through a network of independent sales agents and third party capacity providers.
FMCSA has mandated that all carriers not already using ELECTRONIC ON BOARD RECORDING DEVICES will be required to use EOBR devices beginning December of 2017. Carriers who are already compliant will have an additional 4 years to complete implementation. Landstar is one of the companies already compliant; well in advance of this safety legislation.

Atlanta Landstar offers multiple segments of truckload service. The segments included are long haul, regional short haul, intrastate, and dedicated services stretching throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Truckload can be 40,000 to 42,000 pounds depending on tractor pulling the dry-van equipment. Arranging truckload shipments both on a contracted and spot-market basis is a core competency for us. We access the nationwide Landstar fleet to provide dependable door to door truckload service for high value products.
