We provide comprehensive eye examinations which include testing of visual acuity, intraocular pressure (glaucoma testing), cataract evaluations, & retinal evaluations (e.g. Our offices feature state of the art automated equipment & over 1000 designer frames including names like Jimmy Choo, Tiffany, Max Mara, Kate Spade, Coach, Maui Jim, Gwen Stefani, Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo, Juicy Couture, RAY BAN, Oakley and many more.
Dr. Mayer graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1992 & has been in private practice in our office ever since. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, & is the Tulare-Kings County Optometric Association Past President. He is a local boy too, as he is a proud graduate of Hanford High School.
At Drs. Mayer, Shah and Yost we emphasize QUALITY and SERVICE. Our Opticians and Technicians are trained from day one to provide excellent service and present the highest quality materials to allow our patients to see, feel, and look the best. We offer a full spectrum of eye wear from adults to children, and even have pediatric specific eye wear for infants as well.

We strongly believe in preventive eye care to preserve your eyesight for your lifetime. We recommend a child's first eye exam before school starts, unless problems (eye turn, infection or developmental eye issues) are noted we see kids as young as 3 months old.
