Gilmore Catering

My son and his wife chose Gilmore Catering for their recent wedding. The food was absolutely amazing and I heard rave reviews from many of the guests. One of the guests told me it was the best wedding food she ever had. Very flavorful and not your typical wedding fare. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any event.

Gilmore Catering we’re amazing to work with! They were so accommodating with all the Covid changes we went through and helped us feel confident through all of the unknowns. We worked with Angela and Lori and both were wonderful. All of the food was delicious. The service was wonderful, and our guests enjoyed all of it!

I am a Wedding Coordinator and whenever I get the opportunity to work with Gilmore I am beyond selfishly happy for myself but more importantly for my clients. Gilmore is a well oiled machine. Their food is wonderful, their customer service, top notch and I do not have to worry about one thing as far as them tearing down. I know it will be done efficiently and neatly. I cannot express the gratitude I have for Kim & Charlie(the dream team) and their staff whenever I do a wedding with them.

I have done hundreds of events at the Grand Rapids Public Museum in my 16 year experience.  I want to let you know that Saturday, August 14, 2021 was the best event that I have ever been a part of.  Angela and her staff did a great job with delivering the best possible service in a timely and efficient manner.  Angela was responsive and very friendly.  She knew what to expect  and when I asked in my head if something was done, she had already done it. Angela and her team did a shining example of what catering should be.

We loved having Gilmore Catering at our wedding. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Food was wonderful. Ondi is amazing and would gladly work with her again.

Sunday July 11 we had our daughter's wedding. Gilmore Catering provided our meal and bar service. Everyone said the food was delicious. All the staff was very professional and friendly. Our Senior Event Manager, Charlie Harmon, was spectacular!! He made sure everything was perfect. He went above and beyond what his role was. He helped place extra tables, provided advice and even provided the Mother of the Bride with a handkerchief! His calming presence was very much appreciated. Gilmore was so great! Our guests were RAVING about the food, and working with Kim & Charlie was such a delight. They took all of our wishes and ideas and made them happen deliciously, and were super Covid-conscious and had a lot of ideas on how to make our wedding safer without feeling like a lame conference. Would 100% use them again— and maybe will for our five-year anniversary lol

I have been managing events in Grand Rapids for 20 years and have worked with Gilmore Group for most of that time. They are amazing in every way - so good, in fact, that when it came time to plan my daughter's wedding they were my choice for venue and caterer. I highly recommend them for any event.

I have photographed two weddings at the top floor of the B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids (which is overseen by Gilmore Catering), and I have always been impressed. First of all, the place is beautiful. From the… skywalk leading into the space, to the wide views of downtown, and the beautiful lighting, everything is perfect. Furthermore, the staff is always excellent -- super polite and helpful. Being there is always a treat, and whenever anyone asks me for recommendations for wedding venues in Grand Rapids, I always say the third floor of The B.O.B. I can't recommend it enough. =)

What wasn't there to recommend? Great servers, Charlie (who was our day of catering coordinator) was impeccable, and the food was exceptional. We had multiple food restrictions--celiacs, vegetarians, children, and multiple food allergies- and they handled it with grace and ease. We were impressed.

We had our rehearsal dinner at HOME in the BOB using the Gilmore Collection. The venue was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend!

We just had our wedding at The L3vel at the B.O.B. and Charlie was our manager that night for Gilmore Catering, and I can honestly say I have no constructive feedback for him or his team. They did a perfect job. The bar tending was stellar, the food was amazing, and Charlie did an amazing job keeping everything on time that night. Couldn't have… asked for better food, and I got several compliments on the food, and a few of the guests said "it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, EVER!" Great job Gilmore and The B.O.B. for making our day so very special!

I used Gilmore Catering for my holiday party and they did an amazing job! Madeline was great to work with, adjusting to all my last minute changes without a problem! She was very professional, timely and helpful. Charlie, my onsite contact, was also amazing! He was on top of everything and very professional. I will definitely use them again!

We recently had our wedding at Baker Lofts and everything was perfect! Our guests loved the food and continue to rave about it! Everything we had was delicious from the hors d'oeuvres, to the buffet, to dessert! I wouldn't have changed a thing! Thank you Gilmore Catering!!!!
