Services
Highly responsive care early in life is critical to your child's success in school, relationships and in life. Sycamore Tree Child Care Center provides a safe daycare environment where your baby will not only be loved and cared for-but where our teachers will work to stimulate your baby's cognitive, emotional and physical development through movement, exploration and nurturing.
By the time your child approaches three years of age, he or she is ready to learn new skills. By combining Kindergarten-readiness activities with the best early-childhood standards we assist your child to develop her or her own critical-thinking skills and stimulate your child's curiosity. Your early preschooler will engage in a range of activities geared to prepare them for preschool, kindergarten and life beyond.
Our program is specifically designed to meet the child care and learning needs of four and five year old children. This challenging, fun and age-appropriate program engages each child, helping to think, reason and communicate. The Pre-K classrooms at Sycamore Tree are designed to help your child make significant developmental gains, like communicating successfully, and working well both independently and in groups.
Our before- and after-school program provides the perfect combination of recreation and education. In our safe environment, your child will be presented with opportunities for fun, socializing and learning-they'll do homework, get some exercise, create projects, participate in group activities and more.

Worked for this daycare for two weeks, first time in child care. Briefly trained and thrown into classrooms to observe and help the teachers.
It was fun, I enjoyed interacting with the kids. Downside, none of the teachers clean their toys or classrooms. Overnight they claim to have a cleaning crew but over the weekend when I returned to a classroom, our tables still had food and snot stuck to the surfaces. Everything is briefly spritzed over with a cleaner or sanitizer and they call it a day. Toys that have been in each childs mouth and coated in mucus stay on the shelves untouched most times

I love Sycamore Tree. I honestly can't say enough great things about the experience I've had here. We were very lucky to get a spot 4 years ago for my son & i'm so thankful that we did. The teachers and support staff are amazing and care for my children as if they were their own. If my children have to leave daycare or cannot attend due to an illness, I've received messages asking how they are doing and wishing them well. Everyone is super friendly and my children have learned so much both from a social and educational standpoint.
To top it all off, my 4 year old cries during pick-up because he

Our children have been going to Sycamore Tree many years. The teachers are all professional and care deeply about the children's development in both education and social skills.
They have a lot of extra activities to make things fun, like trips to the ice cream shop, farms, swimming pools, cooking classes, etc.
They are continuously improving themselves, a key attribute to a successful organization. This includes improving the building (flooring, painting, etc.), toys (new outdoor playgrounds, soccer nets, merry-go-round, etc.), classroom decorations (every possible season is celebrated), parent

Our Little guy has been going here for 2+ years, and without question, we added our soon to be newborn to the list, the minute we found out we were expecting. Our experience with Sycamore from day one has been nothing but the best. We were so fortunate to have 2 great referrals of Sycamore, as we were not local to Hartford, and had no clue where to start for the child care search.
We receive daily reports of what our little did each day, activities, ate, slept, diapers, etc. They have since upgraded to an app- where I can get real time updates as they enter them, and see fun pics too!

As a working Mom I had considered taking my child here because they promised exceptional care and a wonderful staff but when I did a walk-through of all of the rooms were very messy and unorganized and there was a teacher using her phone when a child was trying to get her attention and when I saw the playground a little boy tripped and fell and a blonde haired teacher laughed and told him to “just walk away”. The staff only seems to care about socializing and gossiping, they also wear tight provocative clothing which I feel is a distraction, like come on ladies it’s a daycare not a fashion

Since day 1, Sycamore Tree has been wonderful! All the teachers are very kind and sincerely care for your kids like their own. They provide a good balance of education and compassion. Being a first time mother, they answer several of my questions and concerns without any complaint. It is a great comfort to know my daughter is well taken care of during the day!

Our daughter has been there for a year now and we are very pleased. We had her at a in home daycare and made the switch to Sycamore because they offer a 4k education at their facility. The staff is exceptional. My daughter thinks of them as family and we do not worry about her happiness or safety while she is in their care. They are almost always smiling and there seems to be vert little turnover. The food, prepared by their chef, offers a wide variety of healthy options and he makes lunchtime fun for the kids. With daily email reports which often include a photo we know exactly how her day went

My kids have been going to Sycamore for a few years now. They have always had what seems like the best combination on learning curriculum, social interaction, and pure fun. Kids need to learn, but they also need to have fun.

I have been taking my children to Sycamore Tree for well over 7 years. Unfortunately the care and attention our children are recieving has greatly declined. I have since removed my last child due to inadequate care given to my child. I also was not pleased to witness how management mistreated thier employees. It's very sad as this used to be a great place to take your children for excellent care. I hope changes are made soon because these are our children!!!!
Remember if you are not treating your employees with respect it does impact our children.
