Melissa Misgen, owner of Elite Events Catering, has nearly 30 years of catering experience. She began at the age of 12 working with family in her home state of Minnesota and started catering in Florida in 2000. I grew up in a big family in small town in southern Minnesota. Food became a huge interest, when I realized "the good stuff" was sometimes hard to come by.

Elite Events Catering has truly gone above and beyond to help us succeed in our mission to create a high-class social event to raise funds for the Childrens Cancer Center, among other charities.
Elite Events Catering is not only a catering company. We offer full-service event planning services. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, need help finding the perfect florist, photographer or band for your event, we can help with any aspect. We offer a free consultation to all of our clients, in which we will recommend some of our preferred vendors, from valet services to lighting and sound technicians to incredible cake makers.
Listed here are just some samples of menus we have created for some of our clients. We work closely with local farmers, artisans, and suppliers, in order to utilize the best of what local farmers have to offer seasonally. If your event requires a kosher menu or if you would like to accommodate a special diet, let us know.

Melissa and John where such an amazing help for my wedding day, they completely supported my now husband and I by giving us advice when we needed it based on their years of experience and also by creating a wonderful menu throughout the cocktail hour/reception based on things we enjoyed.
They went above and beyond their duties when issues arose and truly helped make the wedding a memorable experience.
I would highly recommend working with Elite, as a whole their team of servers also did an amazing job, many of my guests remarked on how polite and consistent the staff was throughout the wedding

I have worked with Elite Events for a number of catering events in the past years. Some have been private functions and others are professional, work-related events. In every situation, Melissa and her staff have exceeded expectations. The quality of the food and presentation is unsurpassed.
