The Learning Center was created in 2007 by a husband and wife team, who are both certified teachers with Master's Degrees in Education. TLC provides a loving environment where children ages one month through twelve years of age can learn and grow to their full potential whether they need child care, before and after school care, preschool and everything in between.
We strive to build strong family partnerships and promote each child's individual strengths. In addition to child care, we are also pleased to provide piano lessons for both children and adults in a pet-friendly environment that gives our students a positive and supportive place to develop their learning abilities.

TLC provides a fun, hands-on curriculum that integrates all subject areas in preparation for future education, as well as opportunities for learning through play. We believe that every child is unique and will grow at his or her own pace. Our teachers spend time nurturing children's strengths and encouraging them to reach new heights.
We know that every child is special. That is why, just like you, we want one-of-a-kind educators to help lead them on their path to elementary school. Our little one started in the toddler room in September 2021 and after the typical adjustment period, quickly grew to love it. We loved the sensory garden, the turtles, and would always say "hi" to the birds. The helpers did a great job of keeping her entertained and us updated on feedings, naps, and even snapping a picture of our little one every once in awhile through the Brightwheel app. We will definitely miss this place but are moving so must say goodbye!

We moved our son to TLC from another center (in Moscow) when he was 10 months old, in January 2020. We were thrilled with the improvement in care. How nice to drop him off with the same teachers every day, and get notes online every day about his day. The director was always communicative and responsive and even flexible with us when we had a weird schedule for a while. TLC managed to stay open throughout all of 2020. From my perspective they managed Covid-related restrictions very well, and always communicated changes to families promptly and clearly. Our son loved being there. I am very grateful

My daughter along with my older niece and nephew have attended TLC for years! They are the best of the best! My daughter has not only excelled in her academics but also in friendships with others and social development! I honestly can’t say enough good things! The whole staff is really exceptional! I highly recommend The Learning Center!

The Learning Center is the best daycare & preschool in the universe. I haven’t been to every daycare in the universe but the staff at TLC make it hard to beat. There is no doubt in my mind. My 3 kids have attended for the last few years, with my youngest starting in preschool and going all the way through to the after-school program. The staff really care about the kids and have gone above and beyond to teach them and prepare them for life. When covid struck, the daycare remained open and did everything they could to keep the families and staff safe. As school moved online for what felt like

What can I say about TLC? What can I not say about TLC 😊
Our Learning Center experience was amazing. I never once felt my children were not cared for or loved by their teachers. My son and daughter loved their teachers to the moon and back. They were always excited to give their morning hugs and help their teachers set up their classrooms for the day and never wanted to leave when it was time to go, they were having so much fun.

The entire staff at TLC is really great! My daughter just loves it there! Knowing that there are kind, competent, caring people looking after her really helps when I have to leave her for the day! They have also been really flexible with scheduling around my husband's ever changing work shifts. All in all, knowing that my daughter is happy and learning, and safe and sound gives this mom one less thing to worry about during the day! Thank you!

We loved The Learning Center (TLC) for our child. She started in the infant room through toddler and flourished in the environment. She was happy to go to school every day and often wanted to stay when we came to pick her up. The environment was very accommodating to requests and met the needs of the individual children in their care. The teachers were all great and bonded to the kids in their classroom. I wish we had a place like TLC where we are moving. We will miss TLC!

The Learning Center has been nothing but a positive experience. The staff are all very warm & friendly. Super understanding and willing to work with you on a personal level. Our son is always super excited to attend his class with his peers , teachers & staff. He has learned so many valuable life skills since attending TLC & continues to show excitement towards learning. It feels like a family , they really have your child's best interest in mind. I would recommend TLC to anyone who wants a kind & loving learning environment! Thank you to the whole TLC family ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter started at the Learning Center over 10 years ago as a infant. She was one of the first kiddos there and stayed until she went to preschool. We loved our experience with her back then, currently have our two year old son there now and will be sending our three month old daughter there soon. Mark and Julia work with us on a part time schedule that fits our needs and the teachers are so good with him. He loves being there with the other kids and we are continually impressed with what he learns each day. We also love getting the daily emailed report about how he did while there. I recommend
