Dulcie has worked in dentistry for more than 20 years - all with Dr. Eaton. She has superior training in Dentrix Dental Management software and extensive knowledge of insurance and alternative methods of financing. She too has attended courses at LVI relating to team concepts and advanced adhesive dentistry.

We accept most dental insurance plans, cash, checks, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit cards, as well as Google, Apple, and Samsung Pay. Also, for added affordability, we can help you arrange for financing plans available through Care Credit.
Watching TV, a favorite movie, or listening to music can help pass the time during treatment. Each of our treatment rooms is equipped with Hulu, Pandora, and Sirius Satellite Radio. Some patients find that if they take an analgesic prior to treatment, it helps later in the day. We provide Advil upon request.
At D. Scott Eaton DDS, we recommend dental checkups twice a year for patients with good oral health. This suggestion is in line with the American Dental Association's recommendation. Your checkup will give us an opportunity to update your dental records and assess your oral health. Early treatment is always in your best interest.

We use porcelain veneers in Petoskey, Michigan, to cover the front surfaces of your teeth to improve their appearance. Porcelain veneers can be ultra-thin when placed by Dr. D Scott Eaton DDS with minimal tooth drilling. You can think of a porcelain veneer a lot like a contact lens, they are extremely thin 0.3mm, about the thickness of a business card.

First, I must admit that due to bad experiences with dentists growing up has made me terrified of going to the dentist. However, Dr. Eaton and his staff has completely relieved me of my fears! The office itself is beautiful; clean, modern and positioned in a woodsy setting that emits a calming atmosphere. The dentist chair is extremely comfortable with views of trees and birds gathered around a feeder. All the staff I came in contact with were happy and concerned with my comfort. The only thing you could do better is if you severed drinks before treatment/cleaning. This would relax the patient and get them in the mood, so to speak!! You could cut down on the pain killers maybe completely. During winter visits, play Hawaiian music, have techs dress in Hawaiian garb and say Mahalo, before and after work done. Also turn the heat way up. After service they’ll be ready to book a flight and depending on the cocktails, they won’t care where. Summer, just the reverse of all this. Outside of this gang, do what you are doing, you are excellent!!

We relocated to the Petoskey area and we’re looking for a new dentist to handle or yearly visits and an emergency and Dr Eaton was recommended. We call his office and they were able to set up my first appointment the next day. We were impressed with Dr Eaton: his staff, there pleasant and professional manor that made us feel confident that we hade made the best choice.

I detached a crown while brushing my teeth, so called my regular dentist to make an appointment. He was on vacation, so the receptionist gave me the number to Dr. Eaton's office. I called and was given an appointment early the next day.
The staff at Dr. Eaton's office were friendly, professional, and of course extremely helpful. Dr. Easton cleaned and re-attached the crown, and I was on my way in a matter of minutes. The people, the facility, and the service were all spectacular.
