My journey as office manager with New Century Dental Care began when the office first opened 14 years ago. Dr. Hao Yu and Dr. Lixin Xu have been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and serving in Ontario and Upland for 14 years. As Doctors we are dedicated general dentists with the degree of Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and Ph. D. in dental science. We recognize that our patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in us and our team.

According to research conducted by the American Cancer Society, more than 30,000 cases of oral cancer are diagnosed each year. More than 7,000 of these cases result in the death of the patient. The good news is that oral cancer can easily be diagnosed with an annual oral cancer exam, and effectively treated when caught in its earliest stages.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

Words cannot express my gratitude towards this amazing dentistry. Victoria at the front desk was so amazing and helped me in getting an emergency appointment. They took me in within 30 min of calling them. Then after some paperwork was in the chair. on my way to some relief from the pain I thought I would be stuck with through Memorial Day. Dr. Yu gave me what I would call a super bonus and gave me a cleaning while we waited for Dr. Xu to be able to extract my wisdom. She was so kind and reassured me I was on my way to some freedom from the pain I was in. Dr. Xu came in and within 20 min. tooth

I had smooth teeth extraction with no pain and no swelling, followed by implant that was performed very successfully by Dr. Yu. Now I have switched my routine dental cleaning to Dr. Yu and am surprisingly happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Yu to anyone, especially those who used to be horrified by dental visits. :)

I have been turning to Dr Yu, for many years. I followed him from his former practice, to New Century Dental care in Ontario. I drive 100 miles roundtrip, I would drive 1000.
My first visit, a botched filling requiring an emergency root canal, on a Saturday, no insurance. He saved my tooth, and saved me a lot of money.
Wisdom teeth, fillings, cleanings, a crown, braces! We have been through a lot together! My health.

I pushed off coming to the dentist for a number of years, so I was nervous about coming. Dr. Yu, Victoria and Daisy were so friendly and informed me of everything. From asking me if I was okay during the procedure, to informing me of all my options (procedure related and financing). I'm so glad I choose this facility...they made me comfortable and so welcomed!

Dr.Yu and Dr. Xu are the best! Dr.Yu did my dental work,. Every appointment he is well prepared before me coming. Work done is very gentle you feel to be treated as a VIP! Office is nice organized and quiet. Both dentists and their staffs work together very professionally. Can't say enough I'm so satisfy with their job done! I love coming to this dental office. I have been with them for 5 years ever since I moved to the Inland Empire. The physicians are very kind and they try to limit any discomfort associated with the dental procedure if they can. They explained every procedure in details, listens to our concerns and tries to come up with solutions that meet our needs. Everyone from dental assistant to office managers are all very professional and good at what they do. They make you feel welcome and most importantly they don't over book their appt and have you wait in the lobby. I have never once waited more

I live in La Puente and I was recommended to New Century Dental Care from a friend. I haven't been to the dentist for a few years before here so I was really nervous. The people who work there are very nice and helpful. I don't mind the long drive because I know they will take care of me. They make you feel important right when you walk into those doors. I am very grateful that they work with my busy schedule and finances with getting my braces =). They also offer options to what works better for you. I drive from Cabazon for every single appointment and I know many other patients drive from larger distances. The reason being is that not only are the Dentists straightforward, friendly and hardworking. But the Dental assistant and secretary are phenomenal as well. I have high anxiety when it comes to dental work. The needles absolutely terrify me. However Dentist Xu got me past it and showed a genuine concern for me. I always feared the dentist until I visited New Century Dental Care. I had to get a filling and I am SO SERIOUS when I say it DID NOT HURT AT ALL. Not even the pain medicine because they numbed the spot with a gel first!
They were also very quick and let me see the filling before leaving so I knew what I was paying for. They explain everything very well, both dental procedures and financial matters.

Very professional staff. Very respectful and understanding. Does not try to get you to do services that you don't need. Victoria is great at what she does and so are the physicians. (Dr Xu. =D) They will help you figure out the best solution to your dental issues and also help you figure out the best financial options.
