With more than 25 years' experience, advanced dental training, and a strong background in art, Dr. Giacalone is uniquely qualified to address the more complex cases and achieve not just a beautiful, but long-lasting result. Dr. Giacalone begins with a comprehensive exam that includes a physical exam of the mouth as well as the head and neck, using state of the art technology.
We use orthodontic tooth movement to enhance our cosmetic and functional outcomes. We employ many techniques from clear removable aligners like Clear Correct to Essix as well as traditional braces. For more complex orthodontics we work with board certified orthodontists. The retainer shown here is nearly invisible and so thin it is easy to wear.
Regular professional exams and cleanings are essential to your oral health and overall health and well-being. At your cleaning appointment we remove the plaque and calculus that has formed on teeth and gums. We also evaluate the gums and the bone which supports the teeth for the more advanced form of gum disease, periodontitis.
Direct bonding is the chemical adhesion of a tooth colored resin to tooth structure. It is conservative of tooth structure and an excellent choice when healthy teeth require reshaping as in this patient. The patient featured here required no local anesthesia. The patient left one hour later with a new smile!

I've been going to Dr. Giacalone for as long as I can remember- and so has my mother. I have nothing but positive things to say about her and her staff. All the hygienists have been friendly and thorough- I leave my cleanings with sparkling white teeth. Dr. Giacalone is friendly- she always asks about me and my family- but also professional... she definitely knows what she is doing.
