After visiting and talking to 3-4 other stores around the area, we decided to go ahead with Modia for our Home Theatre Install. We couldn't be any happier with our decision. MODIA wasn't the cheapest, but they were by far the only vendor who were willing to work with us around our desired budget without compromising on the quality/brand of the products we wanted in our setup.

A few years ago I became a loyal customer at Modia, Plano - TX. I'm an avid music lover and a very discerning listener with a selective taste in sound equipment. Although I don't always find exactly what I'm looking for at Modia, but the only reason I keep coming back and consider myself a loyal customer is Ben Graham, the Plano store manager. I have never met a more helpful sales manager and sound professional who's more willing to go above and beyond to help me feel accommodated and satisfied with any purchase, even if it was not exactly what I originally thought I needed

I moved into a new home in Plano and was looking for a comprehensive solution for a media room buildout. Ben was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely had my best interests in hand when selecting components and systems. Given the personal attention and boutique feel of the store, the pricing was very competitive. Timing on product delivery and install was exactly as promised. The finished product exceeded expectations in every respect thanks to the precision install by Rob and Jason.I have used other high end audio visual companies in the Dallas area but these guys were the best hands down !! I was in the Dallas area on business, hi-end audio/video is a passion of mine I finished my business early and decided to stop in. The host (Ben) couldn't have been nicer allowed me to look around and try out a couple of setups. I was very impressed with what I heard and saw and even found some new music. In this type of business service is what separates a a AV dealer from a great AV dealer highly recommended.

Do not conduct business with this company. They are unprofessional and do not honor their contracts. They did not use some equipment that was part of the order. A portion of the order included a labor cost. I had to call over 3 months to obtain a portion of the credit and just received notice from the bbb that they refuse to refund the partial labor charge per the invoice They gave me. Unethical company.

I would have given a zero but that wasn't an option.I had purchased a full home system spending over 44K and still, 6 months later, still not operating, or operating correctly. They sold me on "service after the sale" which was a joke. The GM for the Southlake, Texas store Tom Justin, has yet to return any of my under-estimated 90 phone calls and voice mails. I had to go outside of this store to get service and programming. If i did get something schedluled, it usually was over three weeks elapsed time; which if I didn't call and follow up, it wouldn't have even happened

Modia (their old Knox Store) was my first experience with high end audio and was the launching pad for my ongoing audiophile obsession. While I've been dealing with second hand equipment over the years since, I was in the market for something new and of course had to come back to Modia not only to give credit where it was long since overdue but because I had always had great experiences coming in, even when they knew I wasn't ready to buy anything. We recently built a new home and went to Modia in Plano to compare prices on all new home theater, home automation, and audio/video equipment. The builder also recommended another company who designed and submitted a bid to us for the same items. When we got their bid, we couldn't believe the price and had resigned ourselves to having to wait and do it in installments instead of all at once. We met with Kyle at Modia and he did an excellent job explaining and demonstrating the sound equipment as well as going through the home automation they offer and we decided to go ahead and get a bid

I have spent around $20K here over the last few years and I highly recommend them. Ben Graham is the best! I keep coming back to them because they keep taking care of me and they stand behind their work. I had a pretty complex install and they have been out a few times at no extra charge way after the install date, with no questions asked. Ben is the best!

There are a few times in life when someone stands behind their brand and offers superior customer service. Ben Graham is such a man. Ben is the new manager at the Modia Plano/ Southlake stores.
Ben patiently took over the AVR installation even though it was purchased months before he took over managing the Modia stores. He called in IT help and with Kyle's expertise replaced the poorly designed AV WL300 Pioneer dongle with the superior Apple Airplay Express. I now have streaming internet, I can play Pandora, and the WiFi signal is strong.

Purchased an $8,000 media room setup from Modia. My installers were awesome. I couldn't have been more pleased with their knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail. Scott, who oversees installations for the store is extremely responsive. He goes over the installation, timeline and process to help level set expectations.
We had a little snag during the project and the management in the store was responsive and helpful in communicating and resolving the issue.
Overall, pleased with Modia.

I recently bought something from Modia Plano and I must say that they go above and beyond on customer service! Although they were given inaccurate information from their supplier about inventory, they were willing to work with me on delivering my unit at my convenience since I was in the middle of moving and they had guaranteed a delivery date. They ended up even offering some compensation for the inconvenience!
In the end I had to wait about 2 months for my unit to arrive, but all along, the systems engineer (Sean) was always courteous and prompt with any inquiry and correspondence with me. He

I agree with the other reviewer that customer service here is pretty terrible. My wife and I are looking to furnish our family room and media room with equipment since our house is almost finished being built. We are looking for a good deal but willing to spend quite a bit for quality. The owner and sales guy both were wondering why we needed to do research on the suggested products that they offered to us as if researching products is something not normally done. This just makes me wonder if the products they are pushing are inferior or inflated in price. Maybe consumers that walk in the
