Denver was established in 1858 after a party of prospectors made a gold discovery at the confluence of Cherry Creek & the South Platte River, now known as confluence park in Denver. The town founders thought it a good idea to name this dusty crossroads after the then Governor of the Kansas territory, James W Denver. Denver grew in importance as the main supply camp for the Colorado gold camps, which were not serviced by rail until 1870.
Castle Rock still has a small town feel but is finding itself to be in a huge growth spurt. The town was Incorporated in 1881 Castle Rock was a railroad town, a "helper station" for both the Denver & Rio Grande and the Santa Fe Railroads.
WOW! Centennial real estate is all over the board. It is the area's newest city formed in 2001 bordering Littleton, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village and Lone Tree, Colorado. While mainly residential in nature there are quite a few commercial properties in the Centennial Airport area. Single family homes tend to range in the low range of $180,000 up to the multi-million dollar homes.

My husband was ready to sell his childhood home. It was an unremarkable property, but was located east of Denver along the I-70 corridor. The house had been rented for over 20 years, the last 14 by the same man. The oil companies had increasing activity very close by. Pete cut his teeth in this business working land deals for the oil industry. His experience proved to us that understanding all of the ramifications of the lease agreements, county and state requirements for this homestead would have felt very overwhelming without Pete's admirable listening skills and inventive marketing
